I would say these boots are TTS. I am a normal size 7 but almost always get 1/2 size up in boots so I can put an insole in them. The 7.5 is perfect for my needs. However if you are just planning to wear it with a sock I would say to take your normal size. The angle of the top of the boot is so flattering. The boot looks sleek and stylish. I was really concerned about some of the other reviewers mentioning how wide the ankle looked, but I don’t notice that AT ALL. I have very skinny legs/ankles and I always hate it when boots make my legs look like a stump, so I had already prepared myself that I probably wasn’t going to like them. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit of this considering it’s a riding boot and those can be less than flattering. These are not tight to my leg, but they still have a nice silhouette in my opinion. 100% would recommend. Love them!

The shiny leather is a statement maker. I usually prefer a taller shaft because I am tall (i.e. >17" to hit right below the knee but these look great in spite of being closer to 15" shaft.

Looks plastic, very big throughout the ankle and foot area, then slims up the leg! Creates an ill-fitting boot! Had to return them! Takes a long time to get your refund????

Beautiful boot! Loved the glossy leather because it looked so classy and really heightened the stylish look. I normally wear a Size 9. With this boot, I found that an 8 1/2 provided a much better fit. Also liked the square toe. My toes are happier!

So first off, the boot is gorgeous. The color is a stunning reddish toned brown and the slant at the top is very flattering on. However, the top of the shaft runs small while the ankle portion is baggy. I have pretty normal calves (muscular but note “wide”) and even thin leggings were wrinkling when I tried to pull these. Sadly, for that reason they’re going back and the hunt continues.
