Delighted with vest overall especially color (taupe brown) ..Will get a lot of wear and enjoyment with cooler days ahead..

Cozy; stylish; great pockets. Zipper is sometimes a challenge.

I purchased this for my slender daughter-in-law because she prefers clothing that's fitted and not particularly puffy. She tried it on and seems pleased with it, which is a Small. Since we live in Florida, it won't get much use down here but she definitely will want it for occasional trips to the mountains of western Virginia where we have another home.

The vest is very nice, good quality and looks very nice on me. I am thinking of returning it because it is heavier than I wanted and I am not fond of the lining.

Warm, comfy and long. It would be a five star if the lining and inside of the collar of my dark marine blue vest were not white. Serious design error.

This is the perfect vest to layer over a hoodie. I like that it's warm but not bulky. The fit is just what I was looking for too. It's not tight with enough room to layer. The only thing I would change is the fleece lining color. I don't like the contrasting colors.

An awesome down vest. Just the right weight for our springs, autumns, and evenings here in Northern California. Well constructed and attractive. I own two of them!

Absolutely love this vest, but I did have to exchange for a smaller size. The size small fits more like a medium.

Normally I wear my Nuptse N/Face down vest in a size L. Ordered the same size in this and the armholes are tight, ie couldn't put anything more than a T-shirt underneath, and the overall fit was tight, so returned. Color was true to description (blue). Slightly fitted shape. With a background in mountaineering/rescue, this item of clothing looks well made, but doesn't feel very 'thick' filling wise, so not really sure how warm it would be whether layering or not.

as a person with arthritic shoulders, I find upper vest lining more difficult to slip into than regular vests with slick nylon linings. vest is otherwise extremely cozy and well constructed.

It started to leak down after just a couple of weeks. LL Bean usually is much higher quality. I'm returning it. Hopefully I just got a bad one.

Warm vest that looks good. I wish it had interior pockets! The zipper is just "one way". Much better for XC skiing etc if you can unzip from the bottom. More stars if these were added!

No fault of it's own. This is a heavier weight, somewhat bulky, well made vest with a cozy lining. I was looking for a lightweight vest. Grab it if you are looking for a nice taupe heavier weight vest. Sorry to give it three stars. Someone else might give it 5. It's a good value for what it is.

I liked this but too tight in chest and one size up would be too large. Returning.

The vest is tapered at the waist & there fore it is to snug I had to return it. A larger size would have been to big across the bust I did not realize it was that fitted from the picture

I just received this vest in the mail and was surprised at how bulky and oversized it is. I order the small petite and it is anything but!

I didn't realize that there was a flannel lining inside. Although this made it a lot warmer, I live in California and did not like the extra weight. And I didn't like the look of it when it was open.

What a crazy VANITY SIZING! I don't know who shops for the S sizes thinking they are S, but this is far from small size. And I don't think i'm anything skinny, but I could hide a 9 month pregnant belly if pregnancy was safe in my age... I must say I'm quite disappointed in the sizing and also the return shipping charge for such a large corporation that has been around for so long.
