V neck cut narrower and longer than crew neck in same size. Returning it.

The fit and sizing has changed since I last bought this Tee. Not sure I'll buy again even with the superb fabric.

Great quality: thick & soft cotton, but it shrinks a lot. Based on other reviews that said the shirt runs large, I ordered a size smaller than I normally would. When I tried it on before washing, that size XS was even bit, but after a normal cold wash and dry, it shrank a lot. Based on this, I recommend ordering your regular size.

I've always bragged that LLBean has the best pima tees ever! They are soft and silky and don't seem to fade or lose their shape. I bought this v-neck tee and 2 of the Jewelneck Tee, Elbow-Sleeve which I've purchased before. While they both state that they are slightly fitted, I was so disappointed to see that the v-neck tee is 3+ inches small at the bottom. If I choose to return it I'll be charged $6.50 . . . sooo disappointed.

This is a thick tee, not what I was looking for. Not super soft as advertised.

I have several of these L.L. Bean tees and I have never run into the issue of the color rubbing off onto other items in the laundry. I purchased the teal green color and washed it in cool water with a few other items before wearing. The green ran and left spots on a cardigan sweater and a camisole. I rewashed them but the color did not come out. The cardigan is ruined. Lesson learned, I guess. I love these shirts but just be careful how you launder them.

I decided to order these tees from LL Bean assuming that the quality would be better than Penney's. I was disappointed. I will keep them because of the colors, which I really like, but will not order again.

They shrink upwards, shorter, which does not work for my body. I really want to love this shirt, but I'm afraid if I go any bigger, it will be too baggy, and if I lift my arms up, I'll expose my belly. Really thought I had found the perfect shirt, until it got washed once.

Even though 2x seemed a tad small. Loved the colors and material.

I loved the fabric and was disappointed when I saw how snug it was around the waist. I just returned and ordered the next size. Hopefully that will work.

A little skimpy for my wife. Next size xtra large; too large?

I have many LL Bean tees. Their Petite Large has been a perfect fit until now. I just ordered two and both were skin tight. I have not gained weight and my old ones in that size still fit nicely even though they have been in the dryer countless times. I'm returning these to size up. I hope the company isn't skimping!

Just got one of the "new"fit shirts. Do I need to size up to an extra large for it? Not what we expect from bean. Don't change our fit. Tight in arms and shoulders. Ugg

I have many of these tees shirts in pm and love them, but this petite medium is way tooooooo long and I will return.it is 2 1/2 inches longer than my petite medium I got last year! Why does llbean constantly change their sizes? . Sometime I would wear a med petite, then next year I have to get a small regular, then back to petites., for same items. It's Confusing and exhausting trying to figure it out.

I purchase the Petite EX in the crewneck and the V-neck. I had to return all the V-necks because they were 2" longer than the crewnecks. I love the quality of the T but was disappointed in the lengh of the shirt.

I bought a 3X and this shirt is way too small for a 3x. I feel like Bean shirts always run small. The material was nice and soft and I would have loved to wear this. I wish they would adjust their sizing for a better fit. I hate to return items, especially when there's a fit issue. It gets expensive at $6 every time.

I purchased two "V" neck Pima cotton t-shirts along with a few crew Pima cotton T's. The description is the same for both shirts except for the neckline. When I got them home and tried them on, the "V" neck T's are at least 1.5 inches longer than the crew neck. Why aren't' they the same length? I had to return them because they are just too long. If you are going to make them longer than the other T's of the same style and fabric, then say so in the description please.

The color "beach glass" discolored after one wearing. I never had that happen with a bean shirt (or any shirt for that matter). L.L.Bean did return the shirt. Bummer for the color is very pretty. This did not happen with other colors thus 3 stars.....just a warning about beach glass.

They're great shirts, if the length works for you, but see below for the warning. A 5 star garment has lost 2 stars and my business. I guess the design has changed, not for the better, in my opinion.I have been buying these shirts for several years, and have loved them. But these did not fit as well. FACTS: My oldest shirts are 13" from bottom of armhole to hem. Newer ones are 15". I guess I could live with that (despite the mid-life bulge). They do NOT shrink with washing, but I line dry. This order? 17.5" and 16.75" long!!!! I'm not getting taller. I buy petite because I need that in sleeve length, pants length, and shirt length. I can hem these or simply return them. You let me down L.L. IDEA: Would Bean consider listing length in the description? I have seen this for shirts (not just skirts and pants) on some sites. It is incredibly helpful. I didn't think I would ever need that for a petite garment.

This tee is made well. The weight of the fabric is perfect and is true to size but unfortunately it is too short on me. I have several shirts from L.L. Bean and this is the case with all of them. These shirts need to be at least 2 inches longer so that when I move my arms my whole stomach doesn't show. I unfortunately have 4 shirts I barely wear for this reason but wanted to give them a try and have had them too long to return them. The short length makes me look bigger than I am as well. Doesn't sit right on my body.

The material is nice, but the fit is small and very short in length. Too short.

BUT the fit is terrible, very VERY boxy cut, no shape to it. Feel it was overpriced VS the older versions of this shirt or similar shirts.

I bought these and they are almost a crop top. A 'tall' version would be better. Nice fabric and fit otherwise.

This tee was not consistent with LLBean quality. Petite and it was 3 inches too long. Very sloppy looking. I should have returned it.
