I have purchased this shirt in Regular size Large several times in the past, including the recent past. Typically the length of the shirt was 24-25" long from the high point of the shoulder. Beware that they have recently changed the specs: the shirt I received was 27" long--almost tunic-length on me--and the neckline was a wide scoop, not a jewel neckline as it is titled. The fabric is still smooth and drapey but it is somewhat thinner than in the past. I'm really disappointed that this shirt that I have considered a wardrobe basic no longer will work for me. I have tried the Petite range in the past but it was too short. (I ordered the Regular Large supima short sleeve cotton tee this past summer and it was only 23.5" long so quality control is definitely slipping at L.L.Bean.)

"Slightly fitted" is too fitted for me. "Relaxed" would be better.

I am 5'8", size XL, and find this shirt too short in the torso to wear for work as a teacher, and too short in the sleeves to be comfortable. The sleeves ride up into my elbows and the waist shows a slice of tummy when I write on the board. Please, please offer tall sizes for 3/4-sleeved tops.

Bought in 3 colors for travel and I especially wanted the 3/4 sleeve. The pima cotton fabric is thin and clings VERY CLOSE to the body. The armholes are very tight and uncomfortable. The shirt rolls up under the armholes and across my breasts -- looks weird. I could not have worn a larger size because it would have been too roomy around the waist and hips. I think the problem is the cut of the armholes -- not like other 3/4 sleeve pima cotton Ts that I bought several years ago from Bean.

I have purchased these tees for years and have never before been disappointed. With this purchase, the material doesn't feel like the usual prima cotton. Feels thiner and less smooth and "silky", and sleeves feel shorter than they have been in the past. The sleeves get "caught"in the elbow rather than below it, so they are uncomfortable.

Not happy bought several of these shirts and they all shrunk. Did not dry in a dryer either. Very disappointed. Why can't they make these shirts like the quality of your me's t-shirts?

Though a beautiful color and wonderful pima cotton, this top runs very large. The neck gapes, the shoulders droop, and the body is very long. I have always worn a petite small in LL Bean pima Ts but I sent this one back.

This shirt just arrived today, and I agree with other recent reviews - the sleeves are too tight, both for the upper arm and forearm. I ordered one of these shirts a couple of years ago, and it still fits fine. Both shirts are a Large. But this newest shirt will be returned. The description says "you asked, we listened" and that the fit was changed to a "more shaped silhouette". I guess it will fit someone, but not me.

I desperately want to like the pima cotton knit shirts, but the ones that aren't shaped are super unflattering, and the fit of this one was just strange - the arms were excessively tight, which is not a problem I have had previously, so I had to return them. I do like the quality of material and the colors offered.

I have purchased exactly this shirt for years and always took a size Petite Medium. I still have these shirts with the size still plainly written on it, and they still fit me fine. But now I have to get a Reg Large to fit me, and it doesn't fit me as well as the old ones. In fact it is tighter that the old ones. What the heck happened?

I have six of these , bought over several years. They are well made but each one fits differently even though they are all mediums. The one I just received is much smaller than the others. When laid on top of an older one, it is a good one inch smaller in the body and the sleeves are narrower too. Disappointing that I have to spend $6.50 to return it.

I bought several of these tops last year in both a Small Petite and a Small Regular and loved them. After reading the reviews this year, I bought both a Small Petite and a Medium Petite. Both were too long. The Small Petite was snug; the Medium Petite was baggy-looking. I am returning both, and I hope that LLBean returns to last year's sizing.

Order a size up. I ordered a Lg. Reg. and it fits like a Med. Reg.

Been wearing this style shirt for years. The 2 I just ordered are fitted very differently. Tight around middle and very much longer. I would like the longer length if the shaping was not severe.

I've loved these shirts for years. I was ordering a new bunch for spring. I tried one on and had to check the size. I thought I had ordered the wrong size. Nope, it was a 1x, which I have worn, along with the XL, for years. The arms were super tight, the shirt was short and very tight. I didn't open the others as I will return them to my local LL Bean store. I will try one in the next size up, but if it's also tight, sadly, I will have to find a new favorite shirt. I put this shirt over one from a couple of seasons ago and it's almost 2 inches less on each side. Length was an inch shorter than previous season, after the older shirt was washed of course and the new one was not. The fabric is still silky and soft, seems thinner, though. Shirt feels almost 2 sizes too small.

WHY???? Why did LLBean change the style of this Tee Shirt to a shaped tee???? Why is the material NOT the Pima quality of a year ago???? WHY change if it is not broken.... This is the second Tee shirt I have order and will not be ordering anymore from LLBean. Bean used to be my go to for excellent long lasting Tee Shirts. Not anymore. Come on Bean you can do better than this!!!!!

Bought this by mistake- I was in a hurry looking for a long sleeve crew neck Pima cotton shirt- got home, tried it on, it fit awful on me - I didn't like the jewel neck, way too open for my comfort level, hated the 3/4 sleeve, felt something was missing- I just don't have the body type for this one.

I ordered petite but there was nothing petite about this t-shirt. It was way too long and the cut is very unflattering. I would not recommend this style for a short person.

I love Pima cotton tees. And am usually a consistent size large. This one I had to pull over my body. Not good. Another top in a different style also was problematic in size. I thought it was me until I read other reviews. Please ll bean bring back your quality control. You are losing me as a life long customer

This tee shrunk almost a whole size after the first wash in cool water and no dryer. The last time I bought this shirt shrinkage was not a problem.

I bought this top in the warm teal. To my eye it is not even close to a teal or teal/blue and does not match the online picture. It is closer to a shamrock green which would be great if I was looking for a green top. I gave it 2 stars because while it does fit well, it is still a little long for a petite. I will be sending it back.

Having purchased several of these same tops last summer I was quite disappointed to discover that the latest version, even in petite, turned out to be far too long. The ones I have remain in excellent condition even following numerous washings. Otherwise, the material and the color are fine, but the length leaves much to be desired. And no, I am not the incredible shrinking woman!
