My first pair of doc’s and I am in LOVE. These boots well last me years, I know it! The quality is rich. Such a good constructed shoe. The brown is a little deeper than I expected, but that’s ok. I know the color will fade through the years as I continued to wear them. The fit is true to size. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 in women’s, a 6.5 in men’s. I brought a 7 in women’s because I was told doc’s shoes run big. The 7 is a snug fit. Meaning it fits just right. But if you want a little wiggle room or have long toe nails lol, then get your actual size. This was such a great purchase. What a great deal! I’m literally so pleased with this buy.

I’m an avid hiker and don’t like shoes that put my feet out of comission for days just because i put them on my feet and watched TV — the Jadons got more uncomfortable, tighter, and just hurt even though i didnt even walk in them. Maybe i wouldve suffered breaking-in some docs for fashion, but add in the thick soled platforms and these were never going to work for me. I love the zippers and wish more boots had that option. Comfort is a big fat zero.

I absolutely love these, however, they don't come in a wide size. I'm hoping with time they widen, or that a boot stretcher will give them extra width, but it would be really nice if they offered a wide option.

Fits perfectly

Do not hesitate! Buy them! They are by far my favorite pair of boots! Shipping was incredibly fast and customer service is excellent!! I am impressed all around!

Other than returning for a smaller size on originally a size 7 I went down a size and got a 6 1/2 and they fit perfectly now.

I fell in love with these DM when they came out 2 years ago at $220. I’ve been eyeing them for so long, as soon as Zappos had them on sale for $100, I had to jump on them. I originally bought a size women’s 9. They are a little too big (but I still kept them too feel the difference), plus additional ordered a 7 in men’s, thinking the cut was going to be different, unlike unisex. I didn’t want to exchange because they were flying off of the website, so I waited until a mens 7 became available a little after Christmas. Well the men’s 7 fit but they were kinda tight and I didn’t want to go through the “break-in stage” so I kept the women’s 9 and sending back the 7, just doubling up on sox.

I absolutely love the boot, they're super adorable. But there's an issue...the right boot was clearly worn and tried on. You can clearly see a crease where the toes/foot bends at the top and there's a scuff on the toe. The left boot is perfectly fine and never been worn, but the right boot isn't. I'm super disappointed that Zappos would try to sell me "new" boots, when it's obvious that these boots were purchased, tried on (right boot only), and returned. I will be returning these boots and purchasing them from the official Dr. Martens website like I normally do. At least buying from the official website, I won't have to worry about getting tried on and returned boots. This isn't a review on the boots, but more so about how Zappos really tried selling me returned boots as "new." I'm a true Dr. Martens fan, and I know when the boots are really brand new. DMs are an expensive brand and something like this really disappoints me when a company tries to get over on it's customers.
