Customer Reviews Saucony Outpace 5" Shorts

Very disappointed in these shorts. I have and have had numerous pairs of Saucony shorts and loved them all. These on the other hand. First, The material is a little thick for my taste, especially living in the hot humid south. My biggest issue is the wide waist band. Not while wearing and running in these shorts, very comfortable. Everytime I have washed these shorts the waist band has become internally twisted and it's a pain getting it straightened out. They're not a bad running short. The liner is quite comfortable and the back pocket is a good size. I will continue to wear these shorts however they will be at the bottom of the rotation

Not that great for long distance runs. Too baggy and the material is too thick. I live in Houston so these will not be comfortable during summer runs where you are forced to run in 100+ degrees with 70%+ humidity. The sweat created from this will cause the shorts to feel heavy and sag. Do not recommend for runs over 6 miles and in mild temperature weather only. Company makes great long distance running shoes but failed miserably with these as long distance running shorts. I feel cheated with the price I paid for these.

Draw string is a mess. Shorts are good. Drawstring=terrible

I have 5" inseam across several brands that are great for running. I've received several others that are long enough to interfere with my knees. Unfortunately These fall into the latter category. In addition have a fit that can only be described as billowy and I'm 210 lbs! Obviously I'm sending them back, even though I have to pay for the privilege.

I initially gave these shorts a 5 star review. I can't believe how terrible the quality is. Within 1 week the liner has 2 holes in them.

I bought these shorts 1 year ago along with a comparable Nike and UA running short. I run in all 3 equally. These Saucony shorts are very disappointing. They haven't held up and have ripped in the crotch already. While I appreciated their light weight and comfort, the quality is clearly poor in that they are already falling apart.

I spend more time untwisting the elastic in the waistband after a run than I do wearing the shorts. The elastic is not sewn in place and folds over and twists over time. Becomes very uncomfortable.
