These boots will dig into your ankles all day long!

This boot is a quick on and off after tying them once. Nice leather, fits good, good sole for fall winter. Do NOT hesitate to grab a pair. I think I snagged them on sale to boot. Pun intended.

Beautifully crafted boot! Pairs well with jeans or business casual wear. Fast break-in period that provides a level of comfort for all day use. Next up will be a brown pair.

These are easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Solidly built like my other pairs of J&M boots.

Actually these shoes were ordered as a birthday gift. This makes 20 pairs of J&M shoes that I have after having given away probably 10 more pair. I have worn J&M shoes for approximately 20 years only recent complaint is that you do not show more mature men (I am 72) wearing your shoes! Also, tall sizes in clothes would be great again, I am 72 and am 64.

I love these boots. I hope they keep them available. They are very comfortable.

I have over 15 pairs of J&M and have been a customer for over 20 years. These are great boots but the laces come untied SEVERAL times per day. I have even doubled knotted them. I call customer service and was told to buy new laces from a 3rd party. How about you send me a new pair of waxed laces for free after I spent $200 on shoes?

This boot is great for dressing up or down. It is comfortable yet ruggedly stylish.

Great looking shoe. I like rubber soles for inclement weather.

Leather is a bit harder than I expected, no question they are comfortable out of the box but the break in may take a little longer for them to stretch and soften. Issue with the laces...having trouble keeping the laces tied, for some reason they continue to get loose until the top falls off the eyelet hooks. Don't want to tighten anymore b/c it would then be uncomfortable across my foot and ankle. Perhaps waxier laces would be a better choice for these? Zipper on the side is super nice to loosen the fit from the ankle if needed. Color is beautiful.

These are one of the best boots I have ever purchased. They are very comfortable and break in period was not bad at all. Look very good with casual and dressy fits.

The heels fall off within 4 months. I have 4 pairs and all of the heels have fallen off. Have to throw them in the trash then.

A classic look with a comfortable utilitarian sole. The zipper makes the boot easy to put on and take off. It is about 1 cm longer than any other same sized shoe I own.

The second set of boots i have bought from J&M. So far they are very comfortable. Tried to wear the ones with the zipper on the side and the zipper rubbed my ankle raw so traded up for these and the comfort of the sole and inner layer cushion is unmatched by any other style or brand of boot. Very happy with these. If i would have changed anything it would have been the top four wholes for the shoe lace i would have replaced with hiking boot eyelets.
