This shoe is VERY wide...not good at all for narrow feet. It is possible the fit would have been better if I had sized down from my normal size 7.
It is not a cushy shoe. The arch support was not as good as the OOFOS or the Aetrex.
I'd also recommend:
OOFOS, Aetrex

I did not like this shoe--tried to like it because it first felt so cushy and comfortable. but your heel sinks too far down into the shoe at every step and you almost feel like you want to roll over backwards. it never felt right--just no heel support at all. bought some aetrex lynco shoes that look just like these but more support in the heel. the lynco flips have a rougher textured pattern, esp at the high arch, that I don't care for--just bothers my arch a bit, but the support in the arch and the whole shoe I feel excels this shoe.

FYI: I have very wide feet with low arches (but not completely flat). I am a larger female that wears a size 9WW in women. I have Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot and a neutral step/stance. I rated this “NA” for arch support because “improper/harmful arch support” wasn’t an option. They only let you choose between “high” and “moderate arch support” for the rating.
Okay so when you first put these on, they feel amazing. I walked around the house with them for 30 minutes and I was convinced they were the most comfortable flops I’d ever tried. They’re so squishy and cushiony when you first wear them. I was so confident that I then walked out the house to start my day with them on. I was that sure they were keepers. However, after wearing them for a few hours while doing my daily chores/errands, my feet and legs really started to hurt. By the end of the day, my legs and feet were absolutely exhausted and in pain. I bought these because they are apparently for plantar fasciitis but they honestly make it feel worse. I’ve worn them all day 2 more times to see if perhaps I just need to get used to them but the pain got worse with each wear.
The cushion is nice in the forefoot area but quite unsatisfactory on the heels. I don’t think they did much testing on the design because even though they made the arches higher to help PF, all it does it push your feet outward. There’s no stability to keep your feet in the correct position. So instead of walking the way you’re supposed to, it forces you to walk with supination (ankles outward)- and I don’t have any pronation issues normally. When standing still, I look down at my feet and they’re completely leaned outward as if I’m doing it on purpose yet I’m just standing like I normally would. When standing barefoot, my ankles instantly go back to neutral/straight. It really is a terrible design (at least for me). The only good part about these flops is that they fit wide feet. But even that I have found issues with because the band is too tight on the corner of my right big-toe-knuckle which causes pain and numbness in that area. Also, if you’ve never worn a shoe made of this rubbery material before, the band is sticky and sweaty. I’m really OCD about stuff like that and I notice it all day. I guess I need cloth-lined flops like I’m used to.
I completely regret taking them outside because I desperately want my money back for these, especially since they clearly are causing me physical issues. I believe there should be a policy that if a shoe ends up causing you bodily harm then it shouldn’t matter if you’ve worn them outside. Customers shouldn’t have to pay for a product that does hurts them. Anyway, against my better judgment, I’ll keep trying these since I officially own them now, and if by some miracle they improve, I will absolutely come write a new review. I’m all about giving praise where it’s due but right now, this is honestly not a good shoe for someone like me.

Way too squishy. They have very little support. It’s like walking on marshmallows. Hurt my knees (which I didn’t have a problem with before) just trying them out in my living room for a couple days. My ankle injury was aggravated. My back started bothering me too. They feel good on the sole of the foot, but were way too squishy to give any actual support.

The arch support was quite nice. However, the sole is embossed with an deep and unpleasant texture which hurts the bottoms of my feet. Very disappointing. Sending them back.

I ordered these same flip flops in another color and they were narrower (and I have a narrow foot so that was good). For some reason, the same shoe in different colors is wider and falls off my foot.
