great Shoe

Great casual shoes. They are pretty comfortable, but would be better with a wider toe box

Very comfortable right out of the box. Easily can dress up or down an outfit. Seems to be very good quality and I like the soles. They have a nice amount of cushion without looking like a running shoe.

I guess some people would like this shoe. The toe is way too narrow. Total waste of money for me.

Quality and finish lacking

My left shoe squeaks and have no idea why. It started about a month ago and I remembered you sent this email about purchase. I wanted to order another pair so I had them after these were worn out

Where the stitches are in the back wall of the shoe is a seam that dug into my ankle and gave me a blister after wearing all day (where the stitching is in the picture in the back of the shoe). If I wear them again I will have to wear moleskin or something but I may need to toss these unfortunately - I could run/exercise for a week after wearing these. I have bought countless shoes from J&M throughout the years and these are the first ones that have seriously disappointed me. It seems like a flawed design to have such a heavy and hard seam in the back of the shoe.

This is why I don't like to order things online. I got the shoes - leather looks cheaper and feels synthetic, and the sole feels plastic and not comfortable. These will be returned.
