I have JM shoes for work, church and casual. Great shoes. I ordered Braydon black in the size my other shoes from JM are, and they arrived today. My guess is these were tried on before me with the same results: too small. My feet were tight in there. My first purchase I was disappointed in. Shoes look good too, and I was looking forward to wearing them. I need to get a larger size, but not sure how that will turnout. I'm bummed about the shoes. I'd recommend ordering a size larger for this particular shoe. I'd also recommend JM match sizing with their other shoes for consistency in quality and size. Thanks.

Unfortunately, this shoe did not meet my expectation. The leather seemed cheap and the fit was too small. Returned and went back to my other dress shoe

I like the look of this shoe & I'm tired of wearing sneakers all the time & thought this would be a good replacement. I sized up walked around the store felt okay & bought them. Since then I have worn them twice & sorry I made the purchase, the tongue is very uncomfortable & digs into my instep, I'm hoping it softens & loses up over time. Bad purchase on my part.

Not sure why JM insists on using inexpensive laces that fray and break within a few weeks. Shoes are fantastic- Laces are a BIG hassle!!! They should ship every pair with three backup sets of laces.

If only Johnston Murphy would have made these shoes with a full leather lining.!!! They fit, great, look great and are comfortable for all day on your feet, but the synthetic lining makes my feet sweat. I've never had a problem with sweaty feet until I wore these shoes. I bought two pairs in gray and navy blue. JM, please give us these shoes with a leather lining and I'll buy all the other colors!

I have the Upton so i bought these. They are very uncomfortable. I can only wear them for a short time before my feet start hurting. Right shoe is way tighter than the left, almost like it's a 1/2 size off. I would by another Braydon pair but not these.

This isn't the first pair of Johnston Murphy shoes my husband has bought but these have been a huge disappointment. They are nice looking shoes so they get 2 stars for that, however, they fit very narrow. He wore them one time out to an event thinking they would budge but there was no relief. Now they can't be returned and he doesn't want to wear them. I guess he should have bought up a size. It's a shame that there are inconsistencies in sizing among the brand.

1st time buying JM. Absolutely awful comfort level. Hard as rocks. Put nice insole in and barely helps. Do not buy these.

I purchased these shoes and the fit was terrible. All of my other JM shoes fit true to size but this fit was terrible and after several months of trying - I still can wear these shoes for any length of time. Will probably just get rid of them with hardly any wear time.

I do not recommend these shoes. They are very uncomfortable. I have a pair of Upton and they are fantastic. I can only wear these Braydons for 2 hours and they make my feet hurt. My feet feel cramped in them. These shoes seem very narrow and are sized small. When I hold the Braydon, sole to sole, with the Upton, the Braydon appears to be a 10.5 even tho it is marked 11. There is definitely a difference in size. To say the least, I was very disappointed in the Braydon.
