I was so excited to be able to wear these shoes and was surprised by how quickly they arrived, however, when I tried them on, I realized they do not fit as a "wide" shoe should. The sides and the top of the shoe is so tight I cannot even get my foot inside the shoe and if I forced it (which I shouldn't have to do with a "wide fit" shoe, it caused me so much pain.) Sadly, I'll end up giving these shoes away to the goodwill or local thrift store. Hopefully someone else will be able to use them. Please don't advertise that your shoes are "wide fit" when they are not. It's disappointing and really sad.

the leather surface was so thin that the toe leather peeled off at the first wearing, like veneer.

I ordered a size 9 narrow twice and received a size 6 medium both times so I cannot comment on how this shoe fits.
