I wear a 6.5 W or 7M depending on brand and style. The one left in black was 7.5 so I gave it a try. It fit really well. The wool is so soft and cozy. The best I have experienced compared to other wool shoes that I have. I didn’t realize the heel of the shoe can be turned down and put under the heel of the removable footbed to make them clogs. They are very comfortable this way as well. Very well made, quality materials and craftsmanship. I recommend and suggest that if you need to go up in size due to lack of stock , go ahead and try. These might run half size small.

I searched hard for slippers in a half size. Choices were either too short/tight, or too big. Until I found these. Comfort & support are simply outstanding for a slipper. And whether or not I wear socks, my feat don't sweat. Soles are perfect for navigating a stone walkway, or gravel driveway, and I love the ability to convert them to slides. All around, a GREAT slipper, and well-worth the price.

Great shoes! They are dark charcoal grey as pictured, not black as listed verbally. I usually wear an 8. This shoe (8-8.5) is roomy but wearable with tights. Will probably be perfect with socks.

The insole is very stiff and not comfortable to wear.

I love the Taos slippers, but found the piece on the back of the shoe was very annoying. It is meant to wear up or simply fold it down for a slip on, but once folded down for a bit it is difficult for it to stay up again. And when folded down for a slipin, I could feel the edges of it on my foot and it was very annoying. I ended up returning them and going back to Gerlups.

I wear these barefoot as a house slipper; working from home, I wanted something with arch support and warmth without bulk. These fit the bill perfectly. The wool is soft and warm, not scratchy at all. They look similar to a Birkenstock, with a similar wide toe box, but look less bulky. The sole provides some traction on wood floors, but is not overly “grippy”. They have notable and comfortable arch support; can wear them all day and feet feel fantastic as does my lower back. Usually a 10 in athletic shoes, I tried both the 10 and 9.5; 9.5 was best given an average/narrow foot and offered plenty of length.

Fit and size are perfect. These are incredibly comfortable and I love the look.

Fit fine, comfortable, looks warm, which was what I wanted. And it covers the heel! I wanted low, wool shoe for snow & ice, and this fits the bill.

This is the most beautiful slipper. Warm, good support and well-constructed. I had to return because of the sizing. Sizing ran 12.0-12.5 on the shoe and my foot would slip out of the back. I am in-between a 11.5 and 12. So disappointed. I kept the Skagen which ran in whole sizes and has good support.

Sizing seems correct and they have a very comfortable feel to them. They are warm on the feet but not the sweaty warm that the faux fur lined slipper have. The one downside, if you can call it that, is that my cat thinks they are great to scratch on to get my attention

Heel slipped in shoe

I had so much hope for this shoe, it was tight at the opening and felt like it was choking my foot, but loose at the toes and on the heel. Overall, just a horrible fit. I will try to return and either try a different style or different shoe altogether. Also, I‘ve had surgery and it cause serious pain on my ankle where my surgery occurred from twelve years ago.

Cute, fit well, warm …no arch support! Not my first experience with Taos and that was same with their sneakers but thought I would try these. Also, there is a weird stitching inside the upper toe area that is horrible and makes it impossible to wear without socks.

I love these slippers/house shoes. Better support than a slipper, but nice and soft like a slipper. Much better than another pair I tried that have a suede footbed. I can wear these out back on the patio when I take the dogs out rather than having to change out of my slippers. A little spendy, but I work from home and live in these so I think they are worth it.

Fit is perfect and so comfortable!

I really liked the slipper for warmth & style but it was just a bit too short and I needed a bit more arch support. So, I returned it.

Comfortable and warm.

The slipper is very comfortable. It has a wide toe box which I need.

I like these shoes and will be keeping them but they are tight across the top (over the middle of the foot). I can't put them on with socks, even thin socks. I am hoping they will stretch out after I wear them a bit. The length is good so I don't want to order a larger size. There is plenty of room in the toe box, it's just the main upper area that is tight.

At first I thought these shoes might be a bit small for me. I love Taos, especially the arch support, and in that sense it didn't disappoint. The style was a little bit funkier than I thought it might be, but once I wore them around the house I decided to keep them. I was looking for an everyday shoe for running errands and just regular wear. I wondered if they looked more like a house shoe but in the end I didn't care, and decide to keep them. The more I have worn them the more comfortable I have found them. They're keepers for sure!

I like these shoes overall, however, I'm having an issue with the collapsable heal. Once you collaps the heal, you can not go back. The collapsable heal will not stay up anymore. I'm going to try and apply some mule skin to the inside of the heal to see if that helps.

Premium feel for this slipper. Ultimately, I felt the footbed was too stiff for my taste. This is pretty firm. I was looking for something with more cushion.
