So cute but horribly uncomfortable. So sad. Wanted to love these. They are going back.

I was so happy when I took these black flats out of the box and tried them on. They fit my 9N foot well and had nice cushion...at first. When I wore them for the first time, they fit great early in the day; however, by the end of the day they were ready to fly off my feet every time I took a step. Similar to another reviewer, they seemed to have stretched out. I applied heel grips, the rubber strips that you stick onto the inside top of the heel to prevent slipping, and that worked okay at first; but as a result of them stretching out, I added another heel grip on top of the ones I had already placed. Again it helped at first, but they stretched out again and they're flying off. Again! I thought the soft leather meant great quality but not so much anymore. I can't keep adding heel grips and I'm stuck with a pair of shoes I only wore once. Very disappointed especially at this price.

I bought 2 colors and 2 different materials in this style and they both stretched out within a couple times of trying them on. Not sure why

I wear a size 5 but these felt about a half size larger than marked, even with inserts. Bummed about it because they would have been perfect for work.

I love these flats, very comfortable, nice color, true to size for my 10.5 feet. I love the pointy toe. Only issue i have with these shoes, is the leather is too soft on the sides, my foot is leaning off sides of shows. I pondered before deciding to send them back... Booo Hooooo. Zapppos need to carry more larger size flat and other shoes for wide foot. Not much choices to choose from

I have been looking for a pointed-toe black flat to replace a Nine West pair that I bought 7 years ago. Finding such a shoe that is both stylish and a 7.5N has been difficult. I was really excited to find these shoes, but was disappointed when I tried them on. These shoes fit nicely in the length, but even the narrow was entirely too large in the toe box for me to wear--I could fit one of my fingers inside the toe box while wearing the shoes. For this price point, I don't think I should have to "doctor" my shoes with toe pads. I will be returning them.

These were attractive but uncomfortable shoes. The footbed was comfortable but the stiff upper made the shoe difficult to walk in. This was an incredibly tight shoe. The tight shoe pinch my heel and toes. The left was tight in the toe but slid on my heel.

I ended up not being able to wear these. The style was great and I wanted to love these shoes but the leather stretched past what was comfortable for me to wear. They were a bit bigger than I needed.

Very uncomfortable--returned. Too bad--they're cute!

This shoe made me question buying Trotters ever again. I have worn a size 11N for years. I could order that size and be guaranteed a good fit. This style was too long and too wide for my super narrow foot. The quality of the leather was so-so.

Does not fit

I currently own these in 8.5N in the brown croco and love them. They are comfortable, stylish and look great with skinny jeans. I wear them all the time. Buying them in the black nappa seemed a no brainer. When they got here, I began to understand the bad reviews. As I put them on and walked around my carpeted living room, both shoes squeaked with every step. It was so ridiculous my husband and I immediately burst out laughing. It sounded like I was walking on mice. Really loud and upset mice, with...every...step. Instant return. What happened with the black leather that didn’t happen with the croco brown? Why the squeak? It’s a shame since as I love the croco brown, the narrows fit perfectly and they are so stylish, so ...silent. Guess I’m still on the hunt for a narrow width, pointed flat in black.

I am a true 9.5 M. I ordered 7 different brands of flats for work. These were too long and wide with no comfortable insole. Of all the pairs of shoes, I decided to keep the Born, Madeline. I returned all the other shoes. Most of the ran too big.

Two stars because the shoes SQUEAK. These $100+ pretty, classic leather flats squeak. Not one shoe, but both shoes. Talcum powder in the heels...then in the toes...muffled the noise, so I wore them to run errands/lunch/dr appts, By the time I got home, most of the powder was in various spots on my pants' legs and the squeak(s) were back with a vengeance. I am so very disappointed because I really wanted to love them. I really needed to love them, because finding shoes to fit my essentially triangular feet is proving to be difficult and I'm too hip to through in the towel and surrender to a life in SAS. Maybe someday, but not yet. Back they go.

Oh I love this shoe. I really want it but I walk right out of it. Sometimes I need a strap but sometimes I can wear a slip on.

Beautiful shoes but these shoes are HUGE, I would say more than a full size too big. I ordered a 10W, my usual size in other brands such as Naturalizer. These were WAY too wide, too long, just overall too big. Also, the front of the shoe is very small so I think toe cleavage would be a problem even if they did fit. Had to return.

Returning this shoe because the back of the shoe was too low in the heel. I felt like I was about to walk out of the shoe. The length and width were true to size. The style is very appealing. I was disappointed in this design issue.

It's a pretty shoe and looks nice. However, the sides are very floppy offering little to no support on the sides of the foot. Also like many wide shoes, the heel area is so huge you step right out of them and can't keep them on. Because of the heel area proportions and floppy sides it won't do me any good to size down so back these go. The search for wearable flats continues... :(

Good look but ultimately wore down pretty quickly and started to look pretty rough compared to other brands that have black flats.

I was very disappointed with this shoe. It felt really tight where the shoe starts to narrow. I have broken it in and now it feels like it just flaps out. It also rubbed me on my heel.

These are beautiful shoes---lots of support, but omg, they are too snug. I wear a size 7 M and these feet like vices. They are going back.

These are such cute shoes. I wanted to love them. You can wear them for about an hour until your feet killing you. They hurt at the ball of your foot.

Ran long. Pretty but didn't fit. Wide enough but too long.
