The shoes were very comfortable but they are cheap quality. The "leather" rubbed off on the inner part of the shoe and they are now unwearable after just a month or two. Really disappointed.

These boots are not worth the price. The heels wore out after four months, and only the front half of the boots are leather. I doubt they will make it to a second season.

I loved these shoes when I got them, very comfortable and cute with jeans, work pants or dresses, etc. Unfortunately, after only a few wears the wrapping/coating on the heels started to peel off. They are not made of actual cork/wood but plastic wrapped in some kind of coating that is just shredding every time I wear them. Might be okay in another heel color but seems ridiculous, especially at this price point. Thank you to Zappos for accepting return with no issues.

Cute and comfortable. After wearing them twice in normal conditions, the material one of the heels started peeling off. Very disappointing.

I loved the cognac so much, 5 stars all-around, that I ordered the black. I'm so sad to have to return them! They are still incredibly cute and comfy as can be, no problems there. But. The black pair seemed to reveal some of the quality issues other reviewers noticed. The stitching on the seam next to the zipper was coming out, bringing the lining with it. The wood-look heel that I loved so much on the cognac was beginning to peel. It wasn't noticeable, but I fear it would only get worse. Also, these were obviously a returned pair. I have no problem with that at all- I love Zappos for the easy returns and I know it means occasionally I'll get a pair someone has tried. The issue was that the uppers were looking a little misshapen, which should not happen with quality leather, even if someone did wear them around for a while. So I'm not going to exchange for a newer pair as I feel these issues have to do with the construction and materials. I hope the cognac pair holds up because I really do love them!

I really enjoy these boots, having worn them once -- they seem like they're going to be a peach to break in, the width is generous, and super stylish. But what I don't enjoy is the 'wood-grain' detail on the heel beginning to shred, discolor, and detach after ONE wearing on a normal, damp October day in Portland. No puddles, no major water exposure beyond wet pavement, no tumbles, just normal City wear over the course of four or five hours. And thinking I'd somehow managed to really manhandle them, while checking out the peeling I saw that the 'wood-grain' panels are all separate, and shoddily glued on. The inner (under the sole) piece was crooked, and already beginning to peel at the corners. For the price, and the boot shaft being real leather, I expected so much better. I've had shoes from Target and Old Navy (for 1/3 of the price) last longer. It's disappointing, and while I love the width, style, resilient heel, comfort and had planned to order a couple other colors in the same style, I'm now completely disheartened by the shoddiness of the construction.

I really wanted to love these shoes! I love the look of them & wanted a bootie that would be a comfortable walking shoe. However, these were ok comfortable just standing still but as soon as I walked (just around in my house) the structure of the shoe is quite rigid - meaning the leather upper doesn't "flex" or move at all as you walk. I am positive that after not very much walking it would have rubbed my ankle (at the top front of the shoe/ at the top opening). So disappointed. The inner sole was very comfortable, but it was the upper portion of shoe that was not soft at all and therefore would not be a good walking shoe for me, personally. I will return these. One additional item I didn't like was that they were loud as I was walking on my hardwood floors. Meaning, the sole was not soft and quiet when walking. I ordered Rockport Cobb Hill Nicole and they are exactly the walking/ stylish/ comfortable bootie I was needing. They feel like a sneaker and are soft and flex with your foot/ ankle as you walk!

The stacked wood heel is actually a glued on strip which had started to peel before I tried them on. Hard to believe this shoe would hold up. The fit was great. To the SoftWalk company: Don't cut corners and raise the price if you need to. It is a well designed shoe for narrow feet with high arches. I would have purchased them if the boot had been made better.

I have such a hard time finding fashionable shoes and boots in my size, 11N. I ordered the Rocklin and while I kept it, I have some issues with it. The length is good, the heel is narrow (enough) but it it TERRIBLY uncomfortably where it breaks on the top front of the foot when you walk. I was hoping to be able to wear without socks but I can't. I have to have some sort of barrier or it rubs and is very uncomfortable. I think the problem could be solved with some goring on the outside seam of the boot. While it is Narrow enough in the toe box and heel, it is rather "wide looking" on the top of boot. With some design tweaks this could be a 5 star boot.

I agree with the other reviews. The white paint is odd and there is a "odd " mark near the heel. Also, not narrow enough, my heels slip out!

I didn't find these soft at all. Also, there is some funny looking white paint or something on the soles of the shoe and slightly on the upper shoe. I am sure they are for effect but not for me. Back they went.

Loved the fit, however, they have this white powder substance on sides and bottom. Cute bootie otherwise. Would have kept them but was leery of the powder.

The boot fit fine but since I purchased the boot, I have had to replace the sole and heel as it was coming apart. This is my fourth boot and the 1st time that I have had any problem! Marilyn Cohen

The heel on these shoes is so wide that my foot slipped. Returned.

Lovely boot but ran at least a full size too large. I didn’t know what size I was — to try to exchange the boot. Too bad.

Disappointed. I thought this would be perfect, but it doesn't match the picture. Guessing it is last year's shoe, as it has a brown sole on the black shoe. The pictures all show black soles on the black leather shoes. Also, just be aware it is like a cowboy bootie with the back of the heel angled in, rather than being straight.

These are beautiful booties. But it is very difficult to get my foot into it. I do have a narrow foot and a high arch, but it is ridiculous. That's too bad, because they are really nice looking.

I ordered at 7 1/2 W and received a 6 1/2 wide. they are way too small!

Might not be able to keep them as they are definitely not a WW...................very, very disappointed. I am desperate for a pair of shoes.

It was too wide. I have purchased 5 boots from Zappos and they all fit super. I just went and bought 2 heel pads and 1 ball of the foot pad to help these fit. I expect more from Zappos. I have been a very happy customer for at least 3-4 years! Someone must have had these before and worn them and they must have had a larger/wider foot!
