These are great for compression garments! I wanted something to smooth things out under dress pants. I wore them all day without issue. Easy to get on and off for toileting.

Great under summer dresses! They stay put, don’t roll or bind. Suck you in but comfy enough to wear for hours.

True to size

I was hesitant to get these because the price is so much lower than the rest of the spanx line, but I’m so glad I did. They are thinner than the spanx I’m used to, which makes them much more comfortable for all day wear. I mostly use spanx to keep my blouse tucked into suit skirts, and need the legs to keep my thighs from doing the chub rub. I can breathe in these, but just feel like my tummy is a bit more contained. Very impressed.

They roll down at the top, but they will work. Not super heavy material, more breathable material.

I was looking for shaping shorts to wear under a dress for a wedding. The feature most important to me was a non-rolling waistband. After reading reviews, I chose the Power Shorts by Spanx. They were fairly comfortable, but I still had trouble with the waistband rolling. It wasn't horrible, just a little bit of roll, but it was enough to make it slightly noticeable through my sheath dress.

this power short did not show under my short skirt, which was plus. however, even with the cotton crotch, i was uncomfortable. they held me in like i wanted but can only wear them for 3-5 hours.

I was pleased with the amount of compression. The thigh area is extra thick. The deal breaker on these was the weird double seams inside the thigh area.

There are so many choices in shape wear that I was almost overwhelmed. I was looking for something to smooth out the stomach and hip area. I ended up trying 3 different options: the Commando Butter Control Shorts, Spanx Power Shorts, and Spanx Power Concealer Her. The Commando had a nice feel, but ultimately they did not deliver the control/shape I needed. Perhaps they would work for someone who only needs a little help. The Power Shorts were the most compressing -- ended up being too much. Power Concealer hit the sweet spot.

These are not the same as the previous power panties/ shorts. They are not nearly as comfortable and they roll on the top so your fat kind of hangs o er it. And they are not comfortable. They pinch my upper thighs in the back and actually show fat rolls that I didn't even know I had. So disappointed. The other style was discontinued and it was so much better. So sad.

These run extremely small. I’m usually a medium and I can barely get them on. Hoping I don’t poke my finger through the fabric! Purchased for postpartum /belly surgery. Would return for large but already washed and worn.

These would not stay up at all. They roll down, so you constantly have to adjust them. The compression is nice, material is thin and breathable, and the color is perfect. However, I can’t wear them because there is nothing that keeps them from rolling down. They would have been perfect.

The fit was fine, the fabric was soft and comfortable, but the waistband kept rolling down.

Super thin and see through

Medium fits like an extra small... thin fabric and waistband... quality is not good.

MASSIVE thick seams in a U-shape on both the front of the leg and in the back. The ones on the front would definitely show through a dress when sitting down. You know, exactly the thin kinds of dresses you need shape-wear for? I'm a size 12 in jeans with a comparatively smaller waist, and I got the Large, and the stomach is loose and not flattering but the leg is perfect and but any tighter and it would roll on the thigh.

I got 3 pairs, they fit great but 2 of the 3 pairs ripped the 2-3rd time I wore them.

I was so optimistic about this item being exactly what I need, but to my disappointment they 100% roll down. I bought these instead of the higher power shorts because they hit exactly where I need them to. But just sitting down, it immediately rolled down from the waist band. Whomp whomp. No way I can return an undergarment like this. I don’t think adding the silicone band inside the band would even help. Huge let down.
