I saw a customer review prior to purchasing these that indicated the tread had very limited traction on smooth wet surfaces and have to agree. With that said they're great on soft surfaces like trails! They've very light and comfortable and I love the appearance. Count me a satisfied customer..

Very comfortable for walking or hiking on sandy, smooth, asphalt or concrete. I have other Merrells that I wear for more rugged rocky hiking trails.

Wanted a sneaker at a great price and saw these. These have been the most comfortable sneaker I have had in a long time. Pleas don't change a thing with these they are perfect!

These shoes are great! They are super comfy and they already felt broken in the moment i put them on. They are true to size and fit my narrow feet. Plus I can't get over the colour. So fun!

Merrells always fit me perfectly and the sneaker is no exception. I got the brown color; about 3/4 inch of grey suede circles the shoe at the bottom, something I didn't notice in the picture, and the sole is not white, but beige - a nice touch, so it doesn't contrast too highly with the black sole and grey rand. A very nice shoe. I might buy another color!

Love these. I have another pair of Alpine Sneakers that I've worn a tons day-to-day casual shoes, and they've been great. Bought a second pair to alternate with. Comfy, great price, and they look awesome.
