Great sneaker with good traction. I replaced the insoles as they are fairly flimsy and leave some cushioning to be desired. But for the price, these are great value if they hold up like their boots!

This shoe actually held up to my use. Leather held together where other shoes just bust at the sides. Weak insoles. Slid and bunched up so i glued and they didnt last too long either. About 3 months before i replaced the insoles.

Good support, takes a few days to break in but quite comfortable after.

Great pair of sneakers. Very comfortable. They took about a week to ten days to break in, but after that I have no complaints about the shoes. I love the way they look and fit. The only factor left is longevity. TBD

Took them hiking up Mt. Tammany then camped for 4 days. The only problem is the front sole piece that comes up to protect the toe pulled away and is lose

These shoes look amazing, and they feel good. I only docked the one star for one main reason - fit. I own a pair of New Balance 1080's that have a nice large toebox, and they feel amazing. I would wear them every day but they look too silly, and I really only wear them for actual distance running. But they make my feet sing. THESE look amazing and I love the retro/outdoor style. But, my feet just don't sink in to them, and the just fit kind of odd. I feel like I'm walking ON the shoe, not in them. So they have a weird sensation, like a high center of gravity or something. Very hard to explain. Adding an insole magnified the effect, so the insoles they come with are as good as it can get. I wore them for 10 days in Colorado. I wore my Danner's for actual hiking/rain/weather. These were just for casual. It rained a little and I got them muddy and they looked like crap for a few hours till they dried out. Mud came off and they were good to go. Cool shoes, odd fit, worth the feel... still like them, but the didn't steal my heart.

Very comfortable! Great for kicking around town or wandering our local state park with the dog.

really comfy. Didn't give me that oh yeah feeling of a fresh pair of 574s but, what does? This is my first pair of Merrell's and I'm looking forward to checking out the other offerings. I'm unfortunately a 12.5 which seems to either be the most common size of wearer's foot, or they just don't make enough for me to have my choice of colors...

The shoe is very comfortable but wear out quickly. I have logged in about 200 miles and they are already showing their wear. They are also very slippery in the city. I have slipped several times because the sole slips on cobblestones and grates. Just a heads up but I would still recommend.

Not for the trail (nor the commute, unless you want they grungy) but these pop bright and happy without being glaring, garish, or gaudy. I switch the white laces for green. I just wish they made them in wide.

True to size and pretty comfy. Took them as my only shoe on a recent trip that involved a lot of waking. Would be 5 stars but the shoe laces are awkwardly long which makes then annoying

Fit was accurate and comfortable right out of the box. A little stretching will be OK. The color "Bracken" appears more brown on the website, but is really more burgundy.

Great shoes... until it's wet outside. I wore this in a light drizzle for about twenty minutes, and the colors quickly bled onto the white sections. The treads on the bottom also don't provide much grip on slippery surfaces. Other than that, they're comfortable and they fit well.

They may be a little heavier than you may expect but it is a great performing shoe. Thank God for Merrells

pretty alright to me. I wear them throughout the day and during a variety of activities from work to the gym to just hangin around. light weight and comfortable. it's what I was looking for.

Looks great and works well for traveling. Long walks are not comfortable as the sole is not designed for more than local walking. I have to walk over two miles in San Juan and the shoes felt like I was wearing bedroom slippers with no support.

They look awesome, but are perhaps not as durable as leather options.

Style over comfort as a walking shoe. Get lots of positive comments.

I have had two pairs and I love them. However the back heal rips out quickly. I have had to put duct tape on both to prevent this.
