Love these! I wear Merrell hiking shoes a lot - these are not hiking shoes, but a comfortable and reasonably supportive - and cute - everyday casual shoe. I usually wear a 9.5, especially in running/hiking shoes but these fit great in a 9, which I ordered after reading other reviews.

Too large

I love these shoes! They are warm and comfortable up here in north Idaho winter. Definitely not for tromping through snow but great for walking in cleared sidewalks.

Cute and supportive sneaker

Very roomy, but true to size. I love the style of these shoes. They’re super comfortable, and my favorite pair of shoes I’ve bought in a while. The sole is really thick, and the quality seems to indicate that they’ll hold up for a long time.

These sneakers/hiking shoes are extremely comfortable. I love walking around in them. I use them for everything from mild hikes to running errands on cold days. I was surprised by how warm they are. Even with thin socks on, these sneakers keep your feet toasty and cozy.

My walking sneakers have both died and I was anxious for a good replacement. The look of these grabbed me and the sale price also. I think I lucked out! These Merrells initially felt a little stiffer than the light weight cushiony Nikes I am used to but also better made. While walking I felt these shoes offered better support also. I have a narrow heel so I did make use of the last hole for the shoe ties. And the length might be slightly longer than the size 5 I am used to but will be great for my winter socks. All in all very pleased. They feel good!

I had been eyeing these online and happened to see them in a store so I could try them on before purchasing. I am usually a 9 in everyday shoes and up to a 10 in athletic shoes, and the 9.5 was right for me. However, like some other reviewers, I noticed that these felt a tad narrow. After walking around the store for a long time and really debating whether to just take them home anyway, I noticed that there's a men's version that looked exactly the same. I decided to just try them on and I found the only difference to be in the width! I liked the men's color options just as much so ended up purchasing a men's size 8 and am really happy with them! I love how versatile they are - I plan to take them on a long trip where I want one pair for casual wear, moderate hiking, and light workouts. So, definitely recommend these, and suggest trying the men's version if your feet aren't narrow.

These shoes feel great. They toe box is a little wider, which I really like. The arch support is better than most. These are great for walking all day. And they look good too.

I am really happy with these sneakers/hiking shoes. They are really cute in a retro way, and very comfy. The tread pattern provides an excellent grip. They run true to size, not at all large.

This is a great sneaker for city and trail! Super comfortable, mostly true to size, little slipping in the heel but that doesn’t bother me. Good arch support and they seem to breath alright. Slight retro look and seem well made.

These are my new favorite shoes! Right out of the box they felt really comfortable. A lot of times I have to swap out my insoles for Spencos but these have enough arch support and cushioning that I don't have to. They look cute also.

Love these shoes. Fit is good, grip is good on pavement, and they were comfortable on day one. My dog and I routinely walk three miles a day and there have been no issues.

I love these shoes. I’ve barely taken them off since I got them. I’m considering a second pair.
