Love how comfortable these are right out of the box. I have a bunion and these are still super comfortable. They do appear big tho, they look longer than my other boots of the same size.

I got those in 39 and could wear a thick sock. I usually wear 7,5-8 size shoes. They look pretty and polished. I had no problem getting my foot in with my high instep. But the forefoot is too narrow, and I don't have wide feet. Unfortunately, they're going back.

As with the other Ecco boot I tried (Nouvelle Hydromax WR Tall Lace Boot), these were extremely difficult to get on, even with a shoe horn. Once on they felt tight. Ecco is supposed to be a great brand, but not for me.

The tongue was stitched down at the sides and I couldn't even get my foot in! My usual size. Lovely boots, unfortunate for those of us with high insteps.

This is a really beautiful, well-crafted boot, but it rubbed on the side of my left foot, and I could not figure out how to solve that issue so I have to send them back. They do look a little clunky.

I have a high instep and I could not get the boot on my foot. Very disappointed as the styling is really nice. I have had great luck with ECCO shoes and boots in the past but this zippered style did not work for me.

It’s a nice brown color and a nice looking boot BUT it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get on. There are pull tabs but they are useless. There are two insoles so that’s nice to be able to adjust the size a bit as needed.

I’m very pleased with these boots. I tried several other pairs before I landed on these. I normally but 1/2 size smaller in Ecco, and they worked perfectly for me. They are comfortable and high quality. They are not the easiest to slip on and off, even with the zipper, but the size is perfect. I’m very happy that I found waterproof boots that work well for me!

Love these boots. Easy to get on and off with side zipper. Very soft & comfy.

These boots seem to run narrow, even when one of the "dual sizing insoles" is removed which is supposed to make the shoe wider.

This boot runs very small! It's a nice looking boot, but I don't know how the sizing works for this style. I have purchased a number of other styles from Ecco, and none of them fit like this one does. Size up if you want this boot.

These are pretty and fit well. But I wanted stylish booties that could keep me dry in bad rain but also not make my feet feel like they’re melting as my wellies do. Unfortunately, these boots are likely better for cold weather.

A nice looking size 42 boot, but with my size 11 foot I couldn't fit in anything but the thinnest of socks. I need to add thicker socks for a winter boot. (Note: Flagstaff is in at 7000 feet altitude in Arizona. I need to plan for snow and cold temperatures.)

These were comfortable, but the soles were a bit heavier than I wanted. They would be great commuting boots, but the clunky soles made them less dressy.

Shoes are uncomfortable and stiff.

I liked the way these looked but the leather was too stiff for me and hurt my feet when trying them on.

This boot looks nice but is about a 1/2 size too short, feels narrow, and the inside of the boot where my heel and Achilles is feels like a part of boot is protruding and rubs. The boots are uncomfortable so I will be returning them.

The options given for rating this ECCO Amsterdam Buckle Ankle Boot don't list why this boot doesn't work. As many reviewers have said...the boots are constructed with some sort of horizonal band inside at the bottom of the zipper. Unless you are a small child, you can't get your foot in the boot. The boot itself looks great and it could have been an option for me...if I could have even gotten my foot into it!

I have the brown boots in 8 - 8.5 and they fit perfect. The black boots I couldn't get my foot in.
