Had nearly identical pair for many years often wearing for more than 10hrs at a time. Great product, classic looks. Takes a shine readily. Laces will wear out before anything.

Bought these to wear with a tux for a wedding. These were comfortable right out of the box without any break-in period. No problems walking down the aisle and moving throughout the entire night. The leather soles definitely helped on the dance floor. These shoes are stylish and will do double duty with a business suit for less formal occasions than black tie.

I needed black shoes for a formal (black-tie) wedding, but I didn't want to go with patent leather since it's uses are limited. I found Florsheim's Conetta Cap Toe which I can wear with either a tux for special occasions or with a suit for everyday business needs. Even better it has a traditional leather sole instead of a synthetic or rubber sole, so it's a little more dressy. Very happy with these shoes and with quick delivery from www.florsheim.com.
