I have the Kata shoe by Naot, which is from the same Koru line. Those are some of my most comfortable, reliable shoes. I ordered my usual size 37 for these. The toe box was way too tight even after adjusting the laces. I ordered a 38 to compare and as expected it was too long and not even significantly roomier in the toe box anyway. Back they went. It’s disappointing since I love the Kata and wanted a more casual sneaker style with the same comfort and fit.

I would order a size up in this shoe. Lovely color and design, but too tight overall.

I wear lots of Naots and hoped these would give me a pair of navy comfy shoes. These aren't right: they seem both slightly shorter and slightly narrower than all my other size 41s, which tend to fit perfectly in the Koru model. Also, they are cut very low on the sides -- can't really see that in the photo online -- so they have very little side support. Those two issues make these a return for me. I'm surprised disappointed and will continue my search. They do have lots of padding, so if they fit your feet you'll love them and their usual good arch support.

Best wearing Naot’s I have ever owned! Bought 3 different colors to wear. They are comfortable with or without socks. Love the laces and zipper to make them adjustable. I am ready to purchase another black pair!

Super comfortable right out of the box. I ordered these a size larger than I typically order my sandals so I could wear thicker socks.

Quality material, a bit narrow in toebox so need to return. Also not crazy about bulky style on my petite frame.

I read that these ran small, and that’s slightly true. I usually wear a 38 or 7 1/2, but I ordered 39 based on the Naot chart. They were a little roomy, but I think 38 (or 7) would have been a bit snug. They feel like quality leather, with generally an extremely comfortable shape but two downfalls that lead to return: 1) tongue is too long and hits the top of my foot/ankle in a weird and uncomfortable way. 2) There’s a bit of heel slippage. MAYBE this indicates I should have gotten a 38 rather than 39 but I don’t love them enough to try a different size. Returning.

It was a little loose in the side towards the heel. Nice looking sneaker.

The shoe looked great, even though I would have described the color as navy. The problem was the heal. With every step it moved up and down, which not a problem that I have had before.

Loved how soft they were, but the shoes have a shallow heel and gapped open around my ankle.

Cute shoe, but it didn't fit my foot. When I walked there was a strange gap on the side of the shoe. Naots are about the only brand of sandal that I wear, so I had high hopes for these, but it didn't work out.

I read the first-in-queue negative review about the odd size problem for a loyal Naot buyer like me, but i decided to take the risk and order the last pair in my size which is 40. Just like that reviewer, they were too small, but great looking shoes. I'm sorry to have to send them back. A larger size, which was not available anyway, would have been too long. Frustrating.

So much about this shoe was perfect: the look, the toe space, the zipper and laces to perfectly adjust fit. But my heel slipped way too much, as if the shoe was somehow longer right at the heel. It wasn't a question of the shoe being too big, as it fit perfectly everywhere else.

I wanted to love these shoes but should have listened to the reviews. The shoes run small and the toe was just too cramped. I returned them.

I ordered my usual 37. I have another pair of Naot shoes from this same line (Koru) called the Kata, and 37 fit perfectly right out of the box. These feel tight as the other reviewer said, particularly in the toe box, even after adjusting the laces. Unfortunately no half sizes are offered, so I have ordered the 38, and hopefully that fits.
