My regular size 38 was too small. I never size up to a 39 but had to with this style. I have a regular width, size M foot. When the size 39 came, they fit, but I was disappointed as there was a flaw, a mark on the right size of the boot about the size of a dime, just below the toe area. It looked like glue or something had seeped in from the inside. I tried to rub it gently with my figure to see if it would buff away as suede can sometimes look different based on how it is directed, but it was a definite stain. I had originally wanted them for walking/gentle hiking boots such as on the beach in winter but the base is more of a cheaper plastic than rubber. The base does not feel like it would hold on wet or slippery surfaces. I would not feel comfortable walking over rocks at the beach, say, in these. I love the style of them, and aside from the quality control oversight, I don't believe they would fulfill what they look like they are designed for, to go outdoors in. More just to go shopping in, etc. I also didn't like the thick polyester lining, and would prefer a leather.

The leather and lining feel like a $20 pair of boots from Walmart. Also very narrow in the toebox (I have slightly wide feet).

After more than 15 years of buying Naot shoes I have to give up. This style look so cheap, the insole it is not made of cork and leather no more and it was so wrinkled that hurt my feet.

Naot fits my feet great 99% of the time. Just the right amount of arch support for my fallen arch feet. I've wanted a bomber style boot in Naot and am so happy with these. I had bomber booties in Taos and they just killed my feet. I almost always wear a size 40 in booties and closed toes shoes in Naot, no exception here!

They felt stiff and like it might be impossible to break in. Unlike other naots I have had.

I sized up to 38 based on reviews and that was the right advice. I own 3 other Naot shoes from the Koru line, all in size 37, but these run a full size too small. The 38 fits perfectly, including in the toebox where I need room due to bunions and corns. I agree the insole is not the same as in the Koru line, but I feel like it is sufficiently supportive and works for this style of shoe. They also look great. I got the black leather and don't think it looks or feels cheap at all. I am, however, buying plain black laces from Amazon because I don't like the two-tone laces that came with the boots.

I love Naot! I had a pair of bomber boots like these from Taos years ago and had to give them away because they hurt my feet. Finally Naot made some bomber boots and they feel great. I have a left pronating arthritic foot and almost no arch on both feet. Naot has the perfect amount of arch for feet like mine. Any shoe with more pronounced arches, kill my feet, just like custom orthotics did.

Boots width is good however they were too tight in the toe box.

For my feet (which are peculiar, I admit), these boots did not provide adequate arch support. Nor was the heel the right height for my gait.

I have many, many Naot shoes, booties & sandals. Something happened with the particular bootie. I have it in the exact same size, but different color, something has seriously slipped in quality control, as these hurt both my feet!

One boot fit like my normal size and the other boot was a full size smaller… Also, the leather on the black is cheap and fake looking. I love Naot boots, but these were really bad- I returned them and went with a different brand.

I love this boot. I normally wear a 39 in Naots but ordered 1 size up as recommended. The 40 was too small. as well. I returned it and ordered a 41 and I am very happy with the fit. The shaft is a bit wider than I like but that is usually the case for me. I guess I have to live with that., but its worth it considering the comfort and great style--just what I was looking for. The boot is so comfortable. The leather has a lot of give and feels nice. Naot has done it again for me!

Beautifully made boot, with soft, quality nubuck. It is part of the Naot collection that runs on the narrow side, so I would keep that in mind when purchasing. For reference, I normally wear an 8N in flats, and the size 39 fit me perfectly.

Perfect size, super comfy!

Too bad! Big in the heel and tight in the toe.

The return process was easy. One boot was a full size smalller than the other.
