These aren’t fleeced on the underside of the straps so they feel like a regular leather strap, but they look super cute. I kept them but wouldn’t have purchased them had I seen that first.

These aren't as comfortable as the shearling version of Birks. The strap inside is thick and rubs against the foot.

I own several pairs of Birkenstock shoes and I was shocked at the design of these shoes. The straps dug into the tops of my feet making them painful to wear. I tried to push thru the pain in the hopes they would “break in”. I wore socks, nothing worked. The design is flawed.

Love the look of these! They definitely run small - the fuzzy material in them makes them run a bit tighter (I have multiple pair of the regular Arizona big buckle Birkenstock and am a true 10 - had to size up for these and they fit perfectly). When first wearing them the inside of the bucket would rub against me and hurt but it’s gone away since I’ve started wearing them.

This pair of Birks was not new. It was missing the box, the Birk stickers on the shoes and already had toe marks that had crushed down the fuzzy insole. Very disappointing that Zappos tried to sell used shoes as new.

I am a regular Birkenstock customer as I have high arches and a stress fracture and need support constantly, no bare feet for me. I wear Arizona Shearlings as house slippers and have had multiple pairs over the past several years. I bought this pair with the Teddy Shearling because I love the big gold buckle. The quality of the Teddy Shearling is atrocious. The photos I’m attaching are after 2 days of wear. The shearling is falling off and there are black fuzzies all over my house. My feet have worn down to the plastic/foam sole underneath after just a few days of wear. Additionally, the straps are made of a rough, poorly finished leather underneath and are giving me sores on the top of my feet. Again, I’ve had numerous pairs of Arizonas with various leather finish types and none have been as poor quality as these. I contacted Birkenstock customer service and the response was unsympathetic. I was told it was very easy to have repairs made and given a link to find a repair shop. Why should I have to make repairs on a shoe that I’ve worn a few times and is already falling apart? My problem is I bought the shoe last year but didn’t start wearing until now, so I’m beyond the return window. Speaking with their customer service was a bit eye opening into the company’s practices— they also don’t have product reviews enabled on their site so good luck seeing how other consumers have experienced their products!! Definitely thinking twice before purchasing from Birkenstock again, I’ll have to find another brand to support my high arches. Terrible experience!

Absolutely beautiful but painful shoe!!! For 200$ I can’t adjust. So I returned them

The fit as far as size was on point but the straps across the top of the foot was very uncomfortable! The straps seemed to be crimped even after I flattened the straps and poking into the top of my foot!( this was very uncomfortable!) Loved the look but I am returning the shoes!

They came already buckled and not wrapped in paper. One shoe was fluffier than the other and they didn't fit the same. Almost like they weren't a pair.

Nothing like a fresh new pair of Birkenstocks. First time trying shearling. They're like supportive slippers that can be worn outside. So comfy. If you suffer from cold feet, these are the kicks for you.

I should have read reviews first. The buckle on one of the shoes rubbed my foot very sore just underneath the buckle. I went back and read some reviews and found this a common complaint. I so wanted these to work and wore them around indoors hoping it would “break in”. I gave in and am sadly returning.

I wanted to love these shoes, but the fleece is only on the outside. The inside is rough and it felt like sandpaper on my feet. It is a shame that they are so uncomfortable, because they are really pretty and I was looking forward to wearing them.
