Ordered 41 as I wear size 10 ( wide feet). Good boot for walking, however, at this point in time, more of a barefoot shoe person; these boots felt heavy (1 pound each) so returned them. Will keep on eye out for lighter weight boot.

Looks and feels like typical Birkenstock quality. Unfortunately with a boot, it would be helpful to have full and half size. I always wear a 10 and these are too long. I am not sure 8f the next size down fit.

Beautiful leather and craftsmanship; however the style was just too clunky. The height hit right on the ankle bone, making the boot look impossibly huge. They were easy to get on and off. I wear mostly skirts and dresses and these would have looked disproportionate. Just couldn’t get past the feel of Frankenstein feet.

I'm able to wear Birkenstock sandals, but these boots were too wide for my average to slightly narrow foot. I loved the look though, and wish I could have made them work.

Overall it felt great. It was awfully hard to get the boots on, even when using the loop at the back, but, after I managed to get them on, they felt great. I am not particular crazy about the cork showing.

I read a review that these fit tight on your ankle, so I felt ready, but these are so tight that I couldn’t get them on without my sock pulling hard against my toes with no way to ease the pull. They are beautiful to look at.

These are heavy boots and the uppers are kind of stiff leather. I bought both the 40 and the 41 and the larger ones bit better with socks. They will take some wearing to break in.

I'm a pretty true size 8-8.5, standard width shoes are fine for me (I'm neither wide nor narrow), and have typically never had an issue with EU size 39 for Birks. But these boots were just too wide at the heel and middle of the foot for me and had a bit of a clown feet-esque vibe since they were so clunky on. My ankles are never an issue but I had an opposite problem than most of the reviewers in that the ankle area felt too big for me in these boots. They're also quite heavy, and while I can deal with heavier boots (and appreciate the tread on these), the combination of the weight + slightly too wide sizing made it just feel like I was stomping around, with my heel slipping out. I tried the EU size 38 just to see if that would help, and while that helped with the width issue, it was a hair too short and slightly smushed my big toe. Perhaps a half size smaller would have helped but I know that's not an option with Birks. Sad to have returned both sizes, really wished they would've worked out.

Very stiff and hard to get on. Taller than expected and not comfortable because of that.

I loved the look of this boot and the footbed / toe room were both great. As noted in other reviews, the challenge is how narrow the boot is around the ankle. i don't have thick ankles so hoped that these would work for me but similar to other,s I found it just too tight for long term comfort and did not want to chance they would not stretch. Sadly, returning.

Too stiff

Very clunky and heavy. Didn't try to even really stroll in them. Just would really need thick socks and also felt much more clunky than Blundstones which I have for comparison. Will just stick to that brand.

I love the brand and all my sandals. I wanted to love these too because they fit great. But the toe box was so wide it kinda looked like a clown shoe. I love a wider toe box usually; it's more comfortable to me. But the look of that wide front/toe was not my taste.

It fit fine but it was bulkier and more like a motorcycle boot than I expected

Super cute but way too big ! Normally a 6 but 5 - 5.5 still too big

I really love the color the style but too chucky and heavy for a petite woman.

I thought these were going to be very similar to Blundstones based on the pics. I was hoping they'd have a bit more classic Birkenstock support, but they felt really wide and clunky and I felt like Frankenstein wearing them. Returned.

These looked like clown shoes on me, like a massive front toe area that curls up like a clown shoe

I had to return and reorder a size larger because the boots fit true to size, but I was expecting them to be sized like Birkenstock sandals or clogs, which I always have to order a size smaller. When the new pair arrived, they fit, but one of the soles was bent in half inside the shoe. I had to pull it out and put in back in to be able to get my foot in the shoe, but they sole was misshapen and uncomfortable from being folded in half for who knows how long. Really disappointed. Will not be ordering a third pair.
