They fit like a Dansko clog - a bit loose at the heel. With thicker socks more snug. I am always a 38 in all syles of Dansko I own - same here 38 fits. I got one pair to test them and then ordered these in black also (once I knew they were comfortable). I've done some dog walking and errands in wet and dry weather and I find them to be really comfy, useful and cute. Also - super lightweight but sturdy sole.

I was looking for waterproof leather booties for winter walks that are easy to slip on with a comfortable fit, good traction and a high enough upper to keep puddles or the occasional surprise from a little beach wave from soaking my feet. I took a chance on these, and they are exactly what I wanted. Danskos pretty much always are perfectly comfortable for me straight out of the box. I thought these felt a little big at first, but actually the fit is roomy enough for warm socks but I don't find it sloppy. These needed a little bit of breaking in for the upper in front of the ankle to be just right, but after a few hours worn with good socks they were perfect.

I tried this on in the store and would have bought them, but they were too wide for my medium/narrow foot. A shame because they have a great toe box and the arch support felt great.

My first time with this brand. While the size (shoe length) was great, it was very wide for my foot. When trying them on in my home, my feet were sliding from side to side while walking. Recipe for blisters, so have to return. Its a shame as I really liked them.

I had hope for these. I’m looking for a quality walking shoe or bootie that is waterproof, can walk miles and looks good enough to wear out to dinner while on vacation. These are NOT that. They are sloppy fit like a rain boot. Basically it’s a rain boot with good arch. The length is correct but there is tons of room around ankle. I have bunions so toe area is wide enough but again so sloppy my foot slides all around. And they look like rubber not leather. Returning.

Cute, well made shoe, really liked the look. Unfortunately, where it hit the front of my ankle-lower leg was very uncomfortable so I had to return them.

These boots were GREAT! Fit well and very comfortable right out of the box. BUT...... the sole of the shoe is an issue for me. I dislike the yellow Vibram label that stands out. I also didnt like the grey on the rubber. If it were a solid black I would have kept them.

A nice looking shoe and really wanted it to work. I have wedge shaped feet and so thought that the toe box would be great but not sure of the heels. Disappointingly, could never get a good gauge so have left a 2-star rating overall. The length was accurate for my 7.5-8 foot but the shoe was huge all over. Maybe they are designed for a heavy sock???

Love the fit and comfort, however… they SQUEAK so loudly you can never wear them indoors! I’m quite disappointed.

I’m always a size 38 in Dansko, Birkinstock and others- these boots are a generous 38. I am keeping them because they have the minimalist style that I prefer and are waterproof. I will wear a heavier weight sock with them and believe they’ll be fine.

According to the Brannock device, my feet are between a 10.5 and an 11. However, in Danskos I always fit in their size 11.5-12 (i.e., when I indicaed these feel "a half size smaller," that is for the size 10.5-11--the size that *should fit me* rather than the size that DOES fit me), so this is what I ordered. While I do wish Dansko would widen their toe box a teensy bit, I can pretty well spread my toes in these boots. And the sole is a little cushioned & very comfortable. The Margo is a nice, sporty, substantial boot. I could definitely walk five miles comfortably in them (i.e., to work, around at work, and back home again).

The boots were cute great arch support, however, the leather was not supple and they were not wide enough for me. Unfortunately I had to send then back. I have other Dansko shoes and I love them, so u was disappointed with these.

I did a lot of research before I settled on these Danskos and they have definitely met all my critieria. I love them. They are comfortable, waterproof, great for Fall and early Spring especially, for walking dogs in dewy grass or mud. I love the zip up feature instead of having to tie any laces. I like how they go right up to my ankle for high wet grass, but are not as high on the ankle as my Blundstones were are for heavier duty weather. My toes always get cold so as long as I wear my warmer wool socks with these boots my toes stay totally warm. I really like the muted olive green color as well. I own a lot of Danskos and wear size 40 for my 9.5 sized feet, but for these I went with Size 39 per the reccos of other reviewers and they fit perfectly with thicker wool socks. They have good arch support and are very comfortable. I highly recommend these boots.

Great winter and spring boot. They are well made and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Ankle too tight of you have thicker ankles

I love the ease of putting them on. The insole is supportive and has cushion. The arch matches up just fine. They seem well made! The sole has good traction. However the ball of the foot is too narrow for me. The toe box and the width at the ball of the foot is very constricting. I can get my foot in fully but there is just not enough room in the width to walk without pressure. So sad to send these back. I had high hopes of this being my “everyday-go-to” shoe for the winter!

These are probably the most disappointing Dansko's I've ever had. Pretty decent arch support and cute overall look. I hate the outside zipper on these. Also the fit was strange: the toe box was tight and the heel was so loose my heels would slip around. I've worn them a few times, so sadly, cannot return them,
