This recent model from now seemingly instant classic "Back to Berkeley" faction are exceedingly as handsome as they are hearty. While noticeably durable, the waterproof leather TNF footwear stalwarts remain just as rich in function as they area fashion! Surely they'll last me a good long time, yet without hesitation would undoubtedly purchase series again and again! True to size, look and feel. 5 star across the board!

This is the fifth pair of "Back to Berkeley" shoes or boots I have owned. I love them. The comfort and the style are perfect. A versatile pair to own (especially in the Midwest) with the ever-changing weather and winter!

The break in period is short. They handle the snow very well keeping my feet warm and dry . Was able to put them to the test in Austria and they handled the conditions well. They look fantastic and I would definitely recommend these to anyone. Just a solid pair of boots sure to last.

Great material

Used for hiking during the fall (and likely spring) seasons, and everyday wear during rainy and snowy weather. Comfortable, excellent traction and ankle support, sufficiently waterproof (albeit not to total/partial submersion) and more ventilating than the original Back-to-Berkeley boots circa 2018. Very adaptable if internal arch support insoles are needed.

I love the move back to the more original design. Much more comfortable and reliable so far than designs 2 and 3.

Great, comfortable boots. Lightweight - as light as my penny loafers if not lighter. The hooks at the top a a huge plus. A bit snug for a 13 size. Great for climbing and the tread pattern will be a big benefit on the snow. Love the North Face products and for sure buy the boots again.

What an error as I was mistaken my size but they are really nice.

I see why there's been 4 iterations of these boots. Very classic look, perfect for town or hiking. They have a great tread on them for hiking.

Second pair of the back to Berkeley's. These don't feel as premium as my original. Also don't come with the extra colored laces like my last pair. Will have to see how they hold up overall. Great loooking and functional boot overall however.

Not a huge complaint. But was looking forward wearing the design in the photo.

Bought these for husband. Warm with good traction. They do run about a half a size too small.

Comfortable

I ordered a half size larger. Perfect fit. Very lightweight, stylish boots. I almost forgot I was wearing boots!

Comfortable. Made limited hiking easy. There was ice around and i slipped a few times while the person i hiked with did not slip at all

I have worn them for work so far. I like the way they look and they are comfortable. They are a little warm for work and would be good hiking boots for sure.

I bought these for work. Great looking boot. Comfortable and sleek. Only thing is they run small. I want to return them for half size bigger.

Not super comfortable but passable.

I wear size 8.5 in women's so I got a 7.5 Men's but they fit too tight. I have to return

I bought these boots and after half a season they started to delaminate at the toe cap. They fit really small, which has never been an issue with me as I always considered myself a true sized x men's 12. These boots aren't for serious hiking. More of a fashion piece that looks great with jeans but if your looking for durable hiking boots I'd look elsewhere.

Wasn't impressed with this boot, I have several pairs of North Face Boots, along with Columbia and Merrell boots and these were my least favorite! Too heavy and not very comfortable. I was going to send them back, but ended up donating them to a local shelter!

Too tight for this size. I had to return, but the local NF store made it easy with no questions.

Pros: Looks awesome and I want a pair. Feels very very solid. Metal eyelets are very secure. Traction is nice overall, providing good shock protection on the bottom. Cons: Unable to remove cemented insole to perform a visual fit test. Compared to my other TNF shoes, these boots are not accurate with the fit/size guide: it is 3 sizes too smalla size 8 (26cm) is comparible to the size 7 (25cm). The laces are flat, not round and/or elastic like their awesomely Vectivs (the Vectivs I recommend). Too many cement streaks on the leather, which cheapens the look. Verdict: 2 stars. I want the boots, but too small. Would have to trial and error with buying, returning rebuying for the best fitunsure if you can buy 'em again at the previous holiday sale price (exchanges not offered yet).

I bought these shoes during the Black Friday sale, they were delivered to my apartment, I tried them on and they fitted me so I discarded the box. It snowed recently in Montreal so I wore them outdoors for the first time and noticed that the front-left of the right shoe was not waterproof. I went to the The North Face store on Saint-Catherine and was served by a man named Luc, I told him that I wanted to exchange the fault shoes for another pair. Initially he told me that he was unable to exchange the item without the box which very surprising and then, after some assistance, he told me that the shoes were no longer available in my size so he could only offer me a refund. Overall the experience was bad and not what I would expect from The North Face.
