This is such a cute backpack. It is definitely smaller than a standard adult backpack - more in line with what I’d buy my early elementary son for school. However it is the perfect size for a day hike or trip to the zoo etc. Holds two slim water bottles in the side pockets and there’s plenty of room in the main compartment for snacks, sunblock, wallet and other essentials. It’s cute and very durable. The straps are thin and honestly not amazingly comfortable considering that they claim to have saved generations of Swedish schoolchildren’s backs. ??????? Not made for heavy loads that’s for sure. It is pricey but worth it because I imagine I’ll still be using this backpack 10 years from now. I love how you can carry it by the top handles as more of a purse, too. I’ve used this for a purse many times esp when carrying some photo equipment around town.

Very lightweight & versatile backpack.

This bag is smaller than a typical backpack which was a bit of a surprise to me. However, it is a perfect bag for a day hike or trip to the zoo with the kids. It’s durable and holds plenty of stuff. I will definitely be carrying this on our summer vacations.

Ordered this for my daughter she wanted it for school. She likes it and it’s not bulky like other back packs.

I absolutely love this bag. When I travel for work I like to travel light, this bag fits my 15inch laptop, clothes for 3 days and still feels light! It's also great that it is waterproof material and the straps are thin, yet very sturdy. Good amount of side pockets. I'm thinking about which other color I should get this bag in!

This is my third Kanken bag, and I cannot recommend a better brand if you are looking for a simple, durable backpack. I most often use mine for work on days that I have to tote my laptop between work sites, or on weekends for hiking or beach trips.

Love! It's a perfect little back pack. Fits me great as a petite woman (5'2") It's not all bulky, like so many packs with laptop holders and other padding. The straps are also not padded which is great

How do they make such light but durable backpacks?! I take my Fjällräven with me everywhere; work, school, camping, traveling, etc. and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. Best backpack I've ever had, and with handles it's replaced my purse too!

Love this backpack! It's great quality and perfect for traveling! I borrowed a friends while doing a hike and it was the perfect size and light weight! I got the grey which is great because it looks brand new still!

I love this backpack!!! As other reviewers have said, this small bag fits a surprising amount of stuff inside!! I saw one reviewer say that she returned it because it is so small and was confused by the amount of adults reviewing it well. That seems strange to me because I bought it as a diaper bag for my 3rd baby. I will also occasionally have stuff for a 6 year old and a 3 year old inside. Admittedly I do not find huge diaper bags helpful, but I think this is the perfect size. I loaded it up with all of my baby essentials and it was the perfect size. Diapers, wipes, sippy cup, change of clothes for baby, extra shirt for me, a couple bags of snacks, my wallet, phone, sunglasses, etc. Perfect! All of this room is possible because the bag is wider than you think from front to back rather than solely from top to bottom. The best part about this backpack is that the zippers go all the way down on each side, so you have full view of what is packed and no more digging necessary! I did not find the straps uncomfortable at all when it was fully packed. The hardest decision is going to be which color to keep!! I bought a few of them because I couldn't decide. Ox red, royal blue, leaf green, graphite, and black. I am leaning towards graphite because it will go with everything and not get dirty at all. It is a bit cuter than black. The other colors are gorgeous though and I wish I could keep them all!
