Purchase two pairs of these, one in each color. Seemingly well made. Attractive. However, they seem to run a little big (both pairs), both in volume (not so much the width, but height of the cavity) and length. I don't have narrow feet either. Don't get me wrong. They fit well enough, but wish I would have ordered a 1/2 size down.

I liked the shoes when I first saw them, but they are more green than tan, and I didn't want green shoes. Otherwise, they had all the features I waned and looked to be very well made.

I typically buy a high end sneaker/walking shoe for $ 120-$140. I thought I would take a chance on the Katahin although not as comfortable as the high end products. I'm pleased after wearing them daily for one month. Size 11 fits to size.

These shoes would be great for city walking, but aren't really suitable for the outdoors. They're quite attractive, but the suede is not going to hold up under dirty, wet or rough conditions. They have good treads, and zero ankle support. I find them to be slightly large; if I were to order them again I would probably order half a size smaller than I usually do.

I like the way these shoes feel. My feet feel supported and confident. But the color is far more green than appeared in the images I saw when ordering. Also, I and many folks of my age (70 plus) are not comfortable wearing footwear with bright colors like the orange included on these shoes. I have changed out the laces and intend to dye the shoes brown .

These shoes looked good and felt good on my feet. Be sure to wear tall, heavy socks. The tab in the back rubs on your Achilles. I wore thin socks the first time and had to apply bandaids afterward. Wool socks moving forward.

The shoes are beautiful but the sole isn't great, and there's little cushion.

The black sole started to separate (at the heel) from the white shock-absorbing middle layer. I wore them lightly before this happened. I have tried to include a photograph, but it won't load. You'll have to take my word for it.

I bought these for my husband and I already reviewed them but this is another review to follow-up. The sole has separated after only a few months. These were great until this happened, and they are only used as casual shoes, hope nobody has thoughts of doing more in them. How very disappointing.

I bought the house shoe version of this and they became unglued at the heel. We tried returning them to LL Bean and they wouldn't honor their famous guarantee on this product.
