The toe box is plenty comfortable. I usually wear a size 10w, but a 9.5 (regular) in women was perfect for my wide feet. It's easy to walk several miles in these shoes without foot or heel pain.

These shoes are sooooo comfortable! I have flat feet and a lot of tennis shoes actually hurt my feet or ankles. These were really comfortable and somehow still provided enough support for my ankles, even thought they aren't high tops. Highly recommend.
