These boots are great looking and were very well received by the 4 year old recipient. His school will not permit laces for the kids until they are 7 years old. We will keep them, but we have to purchase the lock laces, for kids so he can manage the shoe on his own. He's ready for this snowy weather.

Purchased these during the holiday sale but sadly had to return them due to them being small. Size up recommended.

Warning! Do not buy these shoes! My daughter, age 10, had a pair and we had to return after a couple weeks. The hooks on top hook together when you are walking, even when shoes are fully and correctly laced up. I made sure it just wasn't my daughter not lacing correctly. She fell several times wearing them until eventually we were like these could really hurt her if she didn't catch herself right away like she had been. Pretty scary. Very poor design, hooks are thick and both feet easily get hooked together when walking.
