The backpack is really cute and nice for work. However there's a limit on how short you can adjust the straps on the backpack. I am 5ft and when I have the straps adjusted to the shortest length, the backpack falls right on my behind, making it very uncomfortable to walk. I wish the straps could adjust to a shorter length because the bag was pretty with lots of space. For that price, the backpack should accommodate people of different heights.

This is what you carry when you need something that rides the middle. I love the versatility of this backpack. Is it a handbag? Is it a backpack? Yes! And Yes! I looked at the leather version as well but selected the nylon only because I know I will pack it full for international travel and my shoulders will thank me. Size is perfect. I will eventually circle back and get the leather as well. Improvements Request: Add a little bit more length to the top handle. Perhaps just throw in additional rings so users can adjust length when on shoulders.( I did this to mine to get the right drop) The size of the trolley sleeve makes me wish I can hide away the backpack straps when I am carrying it as a handbag and not a back pack. Love it and would buy this again. Ooh and also want more colors please and thank you.

I bought it for my April trip to Germany and Poland. It replaced the smaller handle/zipper-strap style Tumi I purchased several years ago, and it eliminated the need to carry a camera bag. For air and rail travel, I packed it so full and tight, I couldn't easily remove my own travel wallet. I was able to hide my small credit card wallet inside inner pockets. I used the last compartment for my tablet, a small thin book, and a document folder. I like the organization features. I used the water bottle holder for a small lens and a charging block. The padded shoulder straps are comfortable, and the leather handle is handy to make the case that it is a purse. Fully loaded, it isn't light weight, but hardly noticeable on my back. I chose fabric over the leather version because of weight, and fear of scratching or scuffing.

My new favorite bag. Honestly holds everything and is so comfortable to carry. I took on a recent trip to San Antonio. Loved it and got so many compliments.

Leigh Backpack/Tote is a great commuter backpack/tote: terrific to be able to throw it over your shoulder like a tote, one-arm it or don it fully as a backpack. I generally carry a laptop, a water bottle, a cardigan, a snack, and a few files. So far it's wiped down well after commuting through the rain. A few wishes: that the backpack straps could be shortened a bit more (still a little longer for a petite, 5'2" person) and that they were detachable (from the bottom) so I could tuck the straps into the luggage strap; that the water bottle holder was a little wider (for reference, my 17 oz S'well fits fine, but my 18 oz Klean Kanteen is a squeeze); and that there were 1-2 dedicated pen/cil loop(s) in the front pocket--otherwise, the organization is terrific!

I just bought this backpack and I am very happy with it! My goal was to find a backpack to use on days when I am bringing my normal purse things (wallet, keys, phone, lip gloss, travel brush, small water bottle, snack) and also my laptop and workout outfit with me as I commute to and from work and the gym. I end up taking the backpack off a lot as I sit or stand on the train, or sit and wait for the train, then I put it on a lot walking to and from the station. The handle at the top is great for hanging over my shoulder or carrying in my hand, and the bag is very comfortable on my back, even when heavy. My gym bra, pants, and shirt just fit in there when the laptop is also in there. I don't think I could also fit shoes, but I have always worn the shoes I am going to work out in anyway. So this is a win for me! All the pockets help me to be able to find everything when I need it, and my big folding phone fits in the phone pocket.
