this is the third CH shoe I've purchased with the platform sole. the comfort and support are superb. I have bad hips and, as a result, have been stuck wearing athletic shoes for years in the workplace and also when "dressing up." with the new platform sole I can finally get back into a stylish shoe that provides support and is so comfortable to wear. My hips don't ache when I wear the platform. What a relief!!! As many styles as CH wants to make with this sole, I'll buy them! I am a solid 8/38 in all shoes except CH. Note that their 7.5 is a 38 and it fits like an 8 should fit. so make sure to size down by a half.

I wear between a 9 and a 9.5, and ordered the 9. They felt slightly big with thin socks, but with thicker walking/hiking socks were perfect. Super comfortable. I used them for travel and they were great for long city walks, museum visits, as well as for wearing out to dinner. I only used them in light rain so can't comment on them being water proof. I loved that they didn't slip on wet pavement, or catch on cobblestones. My only complaint was they were very hard to get off. I would have preferred a zipper.

These boots are like walking on clouds. They are so comfortable. They need to make them in blue.

Nice, casual, and comfortable. Slipped a small arch support in for my flat feet without a problem.

Great fit and comfort. True to size. A newer version of a similar boot from years ago. SO HAPPY they have made a new version.

Very comfortable. My ankles get so much support. Platform gives feeling, like above the ground. I work on my feet and walk a lot. This boots are amazing!

Immediately comfortable. Bought these for an upcoming trip and I've worn them on errands and to work a few times with no issues. Perfect sizing for me.

Be sure to order up a half size or so, these run very small. So far the shoes are also super stiff- hoping they wear in!

Nice boots seemed well made, fit true to size. I had to return them because the top of the boots hit my ankles wrong.

Wanted a waterproof boot for rainy weather. The sole is very comfortable, cushioned with good arch support. The boot looks great, but it does have a narrow toe and a wider heel. Struggled a little with size. Normal size (6.5) pinches the toes, but in the 7 the heel was slipping. Kept the smaller size and am hoping they'll break in.

These shoes are beautiful looking. The leather is soft and the footbed is well supported. I am so sad to say, though, that they are so narrow in the toe box (both vertically and horizontally) that they totally squash my toes. Even though they are long enough, the toe area seems to be made for someone who has only three very flat toes.

I expected a very comfortable platform Chelsea boots. But what I received, although it was supposed to be a wide width, it was hard to put on, and it was too narrow to walk on. The material was stiff and they were no zipper, so it was hard to put on. Also it had to go back.
