The boots seem to be of good quality. I ordered 11 wide and couldn't even get them on. I compared them to an old pair of 11 medium and the new ones were actually narrower. I sent them back.

So sorry for this review, but my husband could not even get these on his feet because the gussets were too tight. We returned them to the store and replaced them with the same style with a zipper. Huge improvement! Customer service was very helpful.

The boot itself is very nice, however getting it off is a challenge. Ended up returning it.

Seems well made but is stiff and runs very narrow. Will be returning for boots that run at a normal men's width for my partner. This is the first time we've had to exchange LL Bean boots for him.

I ordered these to replace the ones I've worn for the last 3+ years. These are not the same boots. I could not get my foot in them. The opening was way too small. Very disappointed

May be OK for young people but was way too tight in regular show size which was what was advised to order. Very difficult to get on and took 2 people to get off.

Once on, this boot is tremendous. The problem is the placement of the zipper, and unless you are a contortionist, it's extremely difficult to get your foot into them.

I ordered a second pair after the first pair was too big. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller in wide width. The left boot of the new pair is impossible to get on and off. I've worn them five times hoping it would loosen up but it hasn't. The size and width is fine when I can get my foot in them, but it requires a strenuous effort to get my foot into them. Taking them off is no different. I've always worn Sorels and have never experienced this issue.

Hate'm. I'm 74 and getting pretty arthritic and these are impossible to get into. Also, once on, the upper front lip rubs badly against my shin. I'll go back to my old Storm Chasers (low cut, slip-ons) that I bought from Bean about 15 years ago. I love them dearly and have worn them down to the nub, but they're still great.
