Tried these in 9.5, 10, and 10.5. Most of my shoes are 10s, these are true to size, but do require a few days to break in. They are very comfy, but if you find yourself walking a lot (at least 5-10 miles per day), they may feel a bit tight at first due to your foot expanding throughout the day of walking a lot. I also tried the 10 wide size and found it to feel tighter at the toes, not sure how it's wide over the more relaxed 10 regular (medium), but that's my experience. This black variant is of suede material and looks and feels just like the Vans and DC Court shoes, in fact no one thinks they're safety shoes, but they are. The shoes structure is very insulated and padded well, not nose heavy but the sole does add some heft to the shoes overall weight, they are not heavy from the composite toe, just the sole material, which by the way is slip resistant. Break in takes 1-2 40-hour weeks depending on your foot shape. Mine kept digging into my achilles tendon for a couple of weeks, toe box broke in within 2 days. Also, keep in mind, the insoles are stitched on and possibly adhered, so they're non removable without destroying the bottom inside of the shoes.

I love them. True fit and I usually don’t wear guys shoes but they fit better than woman’s shoes. I gone down a size than my normal shoe size

Placing a review since I’ve had these for months and over it’s comfortable in the edges & a little flat. Could recommend some arch & impact for insoles.

Very comfortable

The shoes fit and feel great! The way they came laced up in the box the laces were all the way up to the top hole so you may have to re-adjust the laces to get the desired fit, but once I did they fit like expected. I've been wearing skate shoes since fifth grade and honestly these are probably the best quality skate shoe that I have ever owned. With that being said I got these to work at Amazon. The slip resistant soul and padded interior, and composite toe makes this shoe perfect for working in any environment where safety shoes are needed but not necessarily BOOTS. When I put the shoes on I literally couldn't even tell they were composite toe!

It’s really cool my shoes

It being a skater styled shoe, it fit exactly as expected; loose-ish where your foot goes in. But this is what I prefer since I'm not using these to run in and the breathability of it is nice. Plus, It makes it easy to slip on and off. The laces are not super long so tying it and then double knotting it might make the knot look bulky; so, if your concerned about that you *might* want to get longer laces. They are also flat shoes, so you might want to get insoles depending on your foot. But as they are, I am personally satisfied with them.

Feel like regular ol skater shoes, just a little heavier.

I love them. I ordered a half size bigger to allow for room since I developed foot and knee problems from wearing safety shoes for 10 hours. I have to see a podiatrist for my severe foot pain, so I hope he approves them.

So I always buy these i work at amazon and out of the different brands I always come back to this. However I will say I notice after about 6 months of wear the heels wear down on the inside. Maybe its just me but its been consistent with every pair of volcom shoes.

I am super particular about how my shoes fit, and had always been very skeptical to order online as going to the store I typicall spend excessive amounts of time trying on many pairs of shoes to find ones that will be suitable for me. Add in that this was the first time I’ve worn composite toe shoes I was very nervous to order these. Also none of the ladies styles that appealed to me were available in my size which added to my nerves. I went a half size down of what I would get in ladies size and stuck with wide width and these are so comfortable. Even in my first days working my new job I did not experience issues, even though I took a risk and went without insoles. My only complaint is they have come unsewn like up at the top of the laces at the ankle on both sides. It could just be the way I walk or something I guess, but I’ve never had shoes do that before. To be honest I usually wear down the sole on the left side before anything else. Ultimately they still keep my feet safe for work and that is the most important part! I appreciate having a stylish option available to me as well.

after reading a couple reviews, I ordered a half size bigger, and figured it would be good cause I have wide but small feet so finding shoes that truly fit the first time around is hard. but i was surprised when i tried them on for the first time because they felt almost too big. i definitely need thicker socks and ive already tightend the laces, but they're comfortable so far just standing and walking, haven't used them for work yet. they're cute too i love the style since they're so similar to some of my every day shoes.

It looks good and the size is great but it is not comfortable for the long shifts. The bottom is too hard to walk on it for too long

They look pretty dope but man do they fit super tightly in the toe area. I got the white pair of Volcoms too but those fit perfectly fine despite being the same size so it must be something with these specifically
