I have worn this style for several years because of the wide toe box and heel drop. This pair seems smaller. And definitely a narrower toe box. Toes are squished together and has even given me a blister when I go on my long walks.

Tighter toe box than the v11s which I’m upgrading from. Sad that they changed to a more rigid heel. Style is a big departure.

I have previously worn New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 . This pair is much bulkier and not as narrow as my prior pair. Great looking shoe but doesn't work for my very narrow foot. I very much appreciate that Zappos offers us the flexibility to try out shoes and return if necessary. My foot is very difficult to fit. It is impossible for me to find anything in a retail store. Thank you Zappos. I am a forever customer:)

These are ok. Still like the v12 better. Wish that style would come back.

These were incredibly comfortable, and the fit for my bunions was great. However, they were like walking on marshmallows , and I felt like there was no stability from side-to-side. I do not need another twisted ankle.

If you're looking for great cushioning without any support, this is a very comfortable shoe. I unfortunately need stability and arch support, which this shoe sadly doesn't have.

I thought this shoe would fit more like my 1080-10 shoes. It did not and seemed flat in the middle. It was wider than the older model. I sent it back.$

My previous fresh foam shoe had a soft heel gripping back. This model has a very low hard back so you heel slips up and down with every step

I have worn some version of these shoes since they first came out. It was always my go to sneaker, and I’d keep a new pair in the box on the closet until I needed it. I just opened and am wearing that pair, so I needed to replace it. This newest version is NOT at all the same. First, the color choices are atrocious (that’s why I scored just one star for style). But the fit is totally different. The tongue is attached to the shoe making it very difficult to get on, and the toe box is very angled. The large toe box was always the best feature of the 1080, but no longer. After trying on just one shoe, I knew it was a no go. They’ll be returned tomorrow and I am, for the first time in at least ten years, in search of a sneaker style.

I have been wearing 1080's since V9's and the v13 is soooooooo narrow. I usually order Women's 10.5D no issues. I have tried on v12 and they are fine, the v13 and they changed the design and even the wide is gripping on my foot I havent tried the v14 yest, but if it also narrow like the v13, I will have to find another shoe

this 1080V13 is different from the 1080V12, sadly the toe box is smaller and the shoe is likely 1/4 size or 1/2 size shorter! Darn, I have to return! I'm wondering what the 1080V14 is compared to the V13 and all the V's I've worn for years

The Toe box was very shallow and the front of the shoe was narrower than all my older 1080s.

Feels unstable, foot rolls.

Fit and size was fine. Width seemed ok while my foot was in the shoe, but I always like to take my liner out and see if my toes overlap the outside edges...and they did, so I may have needed to go even wider (x-wide). My concern with this shoe is the thickness of the sole. While it's nice and cushy...it also makes the foot unstable. I could imagine turning an ankle very easy in this shoe because of the platform sole. I wanted to like this shoe, but I'll keep to my minimalist shoes.

Super comfy when you first put on but these are not ok for all day wear. Your feet are not supported and you shift in all directions. By the end of the day I felt i was walking in sand.

Cute shoes, but these shows fit too narrow in the toe. I am returning them. The next size up even a half size would be too big. Too bad, I wanted to like these.

These were a miss for me. I felt like they were shorter, narrower in the toe box (and I ordered wide), and somehow less supportive and way too much cushion. I have numerous pair of the v12 and so sad they redesigned. I do love the color though. It's a nice light beige/cream color.

This shoe may be good for running, but for regular wear, the cushioning is so soft, it feels like there is no support. I had to return the shoes.

Toe box was narrow. I want the old fresh foam 12 back!

I LOVED prior versions of this shoe statting with the 10- I had 4 or 5. This shoe is significantly squishier, feels higher and has less arch support. It made my knee hurt after one wear. I tried several times but the same result every time. NB ruined a GREAT shoe. Back to Brooks for me.

First running shoes I ever used that chafed the lateral maleolar (ankle bone) on both feet. Got blisters on both ankles from short 2mi walk

My shoes came in a plain cardboard box which makes me wonder if they are authentic New Balance. All my prior purchases came in a new balance box . I’m wondering if this has happened to others as well. I am not sure if I should keep them under these circumstances or return them and purchase them elsewhere.

Not suited for running despite what it says. I contacted support to see if there was anything they could do to help me get a more suitable shoe and they were not very helpful. Be careful if buying these and try somewhere with a better return policy just in case.

Unstable. Bought as a replacement for x1080v12's but I will be returning. The v13's have super springy foam which caused my ankle to roll immediately. Sad - loved the v12's.
