Customer Reviews New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2

I used this for a recent lead up to and running the MCM. It was the first time in a long time I ran New Balance outside of the classics to use for touring the town/city. I love them! Great fit, good weight, lots of air to breath and look good. The cushioning was a surprise in a positive and the response was better then expected. Once thing to point out about these, the response fell off around 75-80 miles of use. Still there, but not the same. I was hoping for at least another 50-60 (to get to 150 miles) that would help me start on the next session before having to get another pair.

After 11 years of running marathons and all distances between; These NB FuelCell SuperComp Trainer v2 were just what I needed. 11 years ago, I ran in the minimalist Newtons through to the maximalist Hoko's. The Super Comp Trainers give you a perfect match of both. The uppers are so comfortable and the best uppers in any running shoes I have had in the last 4 years. I have been tossing on the overall score. The fit is great. The style is what I like. The comfort on the shoe in general is amazing. I just wish a little more response. Nevertheless, I will be wearing them leading up to this year's marathon as well as the MCM itself.

FOR THE THIRD TIME you sent me the wrong size. I have been TRYING to order a 15 as listed on your site. Every time, you've sent me 11.5. I give up with Zappos, you've gone down the tubes.

Only last 2 months before massive holes in the bottom - see pictures. Comfy but not worth the cash for how quick they broke down

The wide version is perfect. I still did not love the very high bottom of this shoe.

The v2 and v3 of the SuperComp (trainer and elite) cause my ankle to hurt because of the stitching. I am shocked this made it through quality checks / testing. The v1 was perfect. I have seen others complain about this too.
