this looks like an awesomely warm winter boot that can take all kinds of weather with good traction. unfortunately for me it was way too wide. I do have a narrow foot.

These were warm, which is what I've been looking for, but although they lace up, I wouldn't recommend them for people with skinny calves. The size was right, but I couldn't get the shaft area that goes around my calf snug enough to prevent my feet from sliding forward as I walked, which resulted in my toes hitting the front. They also don't have a lot of flex. They're on the stiffer, clunkier side. The heels and middle of my feet run narrow but my feet are more of a regular width up by the toes. I wear Powerstep ProTech full-length insoles in all my shoes at my podiatrist's recommendation. These boots do not come with any insoles. They are completely lined with fake fur, even the foot bed area. I tried them with my insoles and they felt pretty comfortable until I did a bit of walking. That's when I could feel my toes hit the front, no matter how tight I made the lacing. A couple of other features that I didn't care for...if you're making an insulated winter boot to be worn in really cold weather, why would you cut big holes in the sides? That seems counterintuitive to me. Another is the sole. I like the idea of the individual chunks for grip but I found the heel to be rounded off too narrowly on the bottom under the heel. It made me feel a little wobbly in the back like when you're wearing heels. These would be better if the sole chunks extended another 1/2" or so out sideways under the heels. I could have lived with both of those things though. It was my toes hitting the front that made these not keepers for me.
