I bought a small for my 13 yo son, but it fits me at 6' 200 lbs! Surprisingly well too. So I kept it because it was a great deal and seems like a really nice jacket. I haven't worn it outside yet, so no clue about efficacy in cold. My younger son has the same one and he really likes it. So I assume it'll be great. Columbia usually is.

I bought this for its features. Its gives good warmth and heavy as well but size is too large. I usually wear M but this was like L so returned it. I see many of them reviewed it as running bigger

Thick and warm. Wicks the water away. A little bulky.

This model lacks features that the Pike Lake jacket had. Also, not as warm

This jacket feels like it would be super warm, and I was so excited to try it on. Until it was like putting on a tent. I'm normally between a Small/Medium, 5'6" 160lbs, 29in waist, 40in chest. This made me feel like a little kid wearing his dad's coat. I would size down if you want a more fitted look.

Too large..too wide............. ..................

After reading the reviews of the jacket being bigger, i ordered 1 size smaller. (Small) the actual order was split in 2 and got the gloves first. Then the jacket came. When i it came, i tried it on, and it felt like I was wearing a XL!!! I wouldn't buy this jacket.

If this jacket fits you across the shoulders the sleeves will be WAY to long.
