Ordered 1/2 size up and that was helpful. But wide was unfortunately not truly wide and too much pressure on sides, so returning.

The shoe was a full size smaller than needed. I wear a size 10 and reordered an 11.
I'd also recommend:

It's basically a mid/high top trail runner. The sole is not all that stiff but has enough cushion that you wouldn't feel sharp rocks.

I have problem feet. Since toe boxes do vary in 8 Wide between brands, this one wasn't quite right for my feet.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago and have worn them a couple of times hiking 4-5 miles. They are very comfortable and didn’t need any break in time. They were great on slippery terrain.

Comfy, Dry and Grippy: Love the fit, the feel and the grip of these hikers. Perfect for wet conditions and supportive for long hikes.

Fab new style, same great shoe: Love love love them! Hooked on these treads and the comfort is high. I would say they run very narrow.

Supportive, comfortable & lightweight! These hiking sneakers are THE best! So lightweight and comfortable with nice treads for hiking. No break-in time whatsoever. Comfortable right out of the box. I love the Fresh Foam line of shoes from NB. I have large feet, so, to find such a lightweight shoe is miraculous. This is my 4th purchase from the Fresh Foam lineup - my previous orders have been running shoes. Also, thank you NB for carrying unusual sizes like mine. I don't know what I would do without you!

I love these shoes! They have enough tread and are warm enough to wear in the snow and the ankle support is nice, I’m buying more!

A good feel shoe: Shoe feels nice and bouncy, perfect fit on wide size option, did go a size up and that guaranteed the best fit.

Best hiking boots ever! I love this hiking boot. It is so comfortable and supportive. I walked trails in California and neighborhood walking at home. The gortex does make them run a bit small so I had to get a wide shoe which I don't usually wear wide. The vibrant sole is durable. I look forward to having these shoes for many years to come.

Time will tell: They aren't as firm on the sides as I thought they would be. I hope they stand up to the walking I do. They are comfortable.

Not wide. Make sure to order extra wide if you are looking for regular wide. These shoes run very narrow.
