No break in needed. My feet have not hurt once even after standing long periods of time.

So comfortable I work ten hours a day in a warehouse and when I’m leaving I walk like I just got there. Love them

Let me start by saying I LOVE the look of these boots, and am so sad that they didn't work for me. They felt TTS for New Balance (so 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size). Unfortunately, I have suffered from Plantar Fasciitis in the past, and the paranoia of it coming back never goes away. The arch support was just not nearly what I needed it to be (yes, I have orthotics, but it's a hassle transferring from shoe to shoe). I am so accustomed to the way that New Balance 1080's fresh foam arch supports cradle my feet and give me the support I need in my high arch, and these just didn't come close. Bummer.

Love the look. Very stable for trail walking and hiking.

Sooooo comfy. I expected them to be very heavy as they look like a hiking boot but they were surprisingly lightweight. No need to break in. Great purchase

A little too small in the toe area

I bought these for my 50+ feet which need more ankle support for my weekly moderate-advanced hikes. No break in needed and wide enough for my wide-ish feet. I wish they had better arch support for my high arches, but so far it hasn't been an issue. Love the style and look of these NB hikers. They're a lot less ugly and heavy than some others I've worn, too.

This shoe has weird words printed on it, like the word toe where the big toe is. Returned for that reason

Wonderful true fit with no pinching. Fabric is lightweight yet provides adequate support. In maturing, this shoe provides much needed ankle support when engaging in those walks that the doctor recommends (less chance of twist and ankle). Awesome shoe.

These are fabulous shoes! I primarily wear them for hiking, but I can easily wear them all day because they are so comfortable. My feet are super wide, and I have mild arthritis. While wearing these shoes, my feet are never in pain because they are so supportive. I'm considering buying another pair!

Unfortunately I’m sending these back, too big. But super cute style!

Tried the 10.5 as recommended, it was not wide nor long enough. I knew 11 wouldn't be big enough, so I tried 12 and while the width was maybe OK, the length was way too much. Sending them back. They look like good shoes otherwise.

I ordered these in my normal New Balance size 7 wide and they are very narrow. I only need the wide for one foot with a bunion and they just barely fit my regular sized foot.

Despite being labeled as "2E" the toe box was not wide at all. The width of the toe box was like a regular normal width.

Narrow, pointed toe box which is quite a shame as the shoe itself is a great idea and super light

They were nice but wearing them every day to work. They only lasted three months.

I can't give you review on the fit and comfort. When I open the box the style was not attractive and it looked bulky and manly. So I'm returning them because of the style.
