This style seemed larger/wider than most 4E shoes. The outsole was too high and seemed very clunky, especially in the heel area. In my opinion, this high profile style is not a good for tennis. NB needs to bring back the 696 V4 in 4E and in colors...was the best low profile tennis shoe on the market.

Solid shoe. Used in day to day and gym activities.

My husband has wide feet and usually has a New Balance shoe. He has not been working out so I have not bought one for the past couple of years or so. We usually get 4E and size 9 for his shoes. Even another brand here from Zappos. This new one, felt off. The width of the shoe does not seem to have the same allowance or it could be because he said the curvature seems more narrower now? The tongue also feels like it has more padding than before. I tried to look at a half size bigger for him to try, but they are out of the 4E size.

I have the 990v5 and it fits great, but the same size for the Fresh Foam is too tight and narrow (as others have mentioned).

This is the third pair of these exact shoes I have ordered for my husband. He plays a lot of tennis and these are his favorite shoes. I hope they never stop making these because they are truly the most comfortable and durable and the best fit of all the shoes he has tried over the years.

FINALLY A SHOE THAT FITS!!! My son has no arch and wears has 4E width. It’s impossible to find shoes but these are great!

I’ve a bunion on one foot and need both a tall and wide toe box and the wide version meets my needs. I’ve worn my current pair 1007’s for 4 months and like other brands, they are starting to show wear. Not wanting to fuss with buying shoes every 5 months and satisfied with this shoe, I bought two pairs of 1007’s on this order. I’ll rotate shoes every other wear hoping to get a years worth of value from them. No need for inserts, I get plenty of support. And a year from now, when these begin to age out - I’ll probably get 1007’s again

Great Shoes for tennis/pickleball players with wider feet.

Fit and look are good. Big fan of New Balance.

Shoes felt good playing pickleball.

I play Pickleball at least 2 - 4 times a week. These have held up well. Due to very wide feet (4E) there aren't very many brands/models I can wear for court play. My only complaint is that New Balance in 4E seem to rarely go on sale.

Wish there was as more cushion in the sole
