I already liked this color, but the blue was even prettier and deeper/richer in person. It fits really well and I'm looking forward to wearing it in the colder months

New design is more stylish and form fitting than the previous vest. I'm a size 10/12 with a bust of 39 and have to go up to a large. Nice design and nice colors.

I wear my Smartwool vest most days going to Point Isabel dog park by San Francisco Bay. Most morning chills are warmed by my vest, sometimes with a light windbreaker underneath it. The inside chest pocket protects my iPhone. The two zippered side pockets are roomy enough for a dog lead and poop bags. This is my second vest. The first one is still going strong, but I never want to be without this essential garment.

Light weight, fit is perfect for wearing sweater underneath! Warm without the bulk! Love the light blue color. Quality vest!

I absolutely love my Women's SmartLoft Vest! The design is stylish, and the quality is top-notch. It's incredibly light, but warm and comfortable, perfect for those chilly days. The only thing to note is that it runs on the small side, so I recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. The color is pretty baby blue. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others looking for a stylish and functional vest! I am 5'9 and 145 pounds and usually a M in Smartwool. This fits, but little snug. I will still keep it. P.S. The zipper closes on the side, but in a cool way. I like it.

I love this vest. It's the right weight to warm me up, but not too warm to wear indoors at work. I just bought it in another color to add to the black one I've been wearing for years.

Nice thickness, great quality, and perfect fit. The hood is a nice touch. I've warn this at home but it's also dressy/classy enough for social events.

Wish I had one of these years ago. Should be included in every active girl's closet. I could almost wear it every day, except I live in the South. Hope Smartwool continues with a hooded vest.

This vest is amazing! I bought it for an international trip coming up on May1st , but I decided to try it out one day recently. I was so surprised how comfortable I felt in it while running errands. It's very light so it is deceiving. I would buy another one if they made it without a hood and brighter colors. Try it! You won't be disappointed! PS- I rarely write reviews unless I'm really happy with an item.

When it is extremely cold, I wear this under my coat and stay perfectly warm. For mildly cold days it keeps me warm. I like that I can pull up the hoody if it starts misting or raining. We have family in Germany so I wear this throughout the winter there.

I like to wear every occasion and weather because it's comfortable and look good on me.

The vest is wonderful! I've been wearing it daily over a thin wicking top to walk the dog here in SoCal winter mornings. I rained on us recently and kept the covered part of me dry- for an extended rain I'd plan to layer under a water proof shell. I think it would work well for cross country skiing over a merino base layer - I haven't had a chance to try that yet. I purchased the pecan color - it coordinates with a lot of other colors- versatile!

I absolutely love this vest and the advertising on the merino wool has been on point. I wear it for hiking and skinning, so I get very sweaty. Usually I have to wash my vests after one wear because of the smell but I was able to wear this one many times before the first washing (and I didn't repulse myself with the smell). The zipper is very sturdy, the pockets are a good size, and the internal pockets for quickly shoving in gloves and other extra layers work great. The fit is also excellent. I am 5' 7" and 155-ish pounds with an athletic build, broad shoulders, and a short torso. I frequently run into issues with active wear that the lower band hits me closer to my butt and thus is too tight for me despite everywhere else being fine. However, the cut on this in the medium fits well.

If I could give more stars I would. This vest is great. I am 5'6" 130 lbs. The size medium is perfect for me. The Pecan brown color is perfect. My first time wearing was for just running errands and I did not want to take it off when I got home. My core was nice and cozy. I will wear everyday and probably hiking with the dogs.

I use the smart loft vest over a shirt or sweater, I love that it is a warm layer and will hold my phone in with the zip pocket Love for work and recreation

Warm and soft. Light enough to wear indoors or out. Nice hood in case a light sprinkle of rain. Love the weight of the Merino wool.

Light weight and comfortable. I think it runs pretty true to size. I have pear shaped body so I always need a larger size in the hips so the large I ordered fits well in my hips but is baggy in the bust. I may try to take a dart in the elasticized side bands. I'm curious about the decision to change from the ribbed and elasticized side bands in last year's vest.

I wear this vest during my long night shifts, while running errands, walking the dogs, and enjoying the outdoors. I wish I could get one in every color! #sweepstakes
