Have not put a lot of miles on these yet, but so far very comfortable. They have very comfortable soles. Will give a longer review after a few backpacking trips.

I have arthritis in both feet! I have a lot less foot pain hiking in this boot. It has high arch support. Best, most comfortable boot I have ever worn. My feet are 11.5 and 13. I bought 14. Perfect fit for my wide feet!

I am a long time Salomon fan and have purchased (and worn out) quite a few pairs of Quest 4D GTXs. When I saw this boot, I was expecting a quality upper with a Quest 4D foot-bed and a bit more cushion. The cushion is there, (which is nice) but the foot-bed isn't nearly the quality of fit as the Quest 4D series. The upper materials also have a much cheaper feel. These feel like $130 shoes, not $210. Thus, these go to Good Will and my search continues.

Purchased both the mid & low. After testing the low on complex rocky terrain, I returned the mids. I continue to use the lows for long, non-technical hikes. Wish the outsole/tread pattern was equivalent to the X Ultra 3 my boot of choice. Hoping the next iteration is better for complex/technical hikes.

I was on a 12 day elk and I was bragging how great the boots were until the second last day I noticed the outside side wall seem pulled apart. Hopefully they get replaced because they were very comfortable.

the Gortex on these boots is shocking and tore quickly against the seem, very disappointing and I suggest no one else makes the mistake I did.

Have worn these on less than five hikes, and the side panel had ripped out/off. Starting the warranty return process. Not a good start!

I have had 3 pairs in as many months and each pair has leaked.

Very comfortable boot but having only had these for 2 weeks and covered less than 20 miles the right boot this morning decided to allow the wet stuff through the guaranteed to keep you dry Gore-tex. Would not recommend these if you want to keep your feet dry. Sorry Salomon.

Very stylish! Can wear anytime. Might get a second pair.
