They were a bit too big but the kiddo loved them and they worked well for walking to the beach and back and avoiding sandburs.

Ok so I got these in size J4 for my 7 year old - whose feet measure 8-1/2" long and is wearing a size J3 nowadays - because according to the size chart, 8-1/2" is a size J3 and I wanted to future-proof them (size J4 is for 8-7/8" long feet). Well, the J4s were HUGE on him. At least an inch longer than they should have been according to their chart. Also something to note, we got the "pink clay" color and they're way more pink than they appeared online. I know this is subjective and due to the color settings on your PC/device, but the pics they share online are not pink at all, and the shoes they sent were quite pink. A pale pink, but pink nonetheless. Keep that in mind when ordering. They are still very nice looking, but not what we were expecting.

My son loves the added height these shoes give him. We purchase crocs all the time. They look chunky but definitely appreciate the sturdiness of them, more than the original crocs.
