These shoes have just the right amount of cushioning for me and very comfortable. The traction for the trails I run on is great to.

Little to dislike here for FedEx driver. They hug my feet in just the right way, lacing is different but great, cushioning is excellent, phenomenal traction everywhere, amazingly lightweight, waterproof Gore-Tex(necessity in my job). My only very mild complaint is the tend to lean inward a smidgen walking different angles.

This is my first time trying this style of Salomon, and I'm so happy I looked into the differences in "drop" heights. I'm currently working on my feet 6 days a week, and these shoes are absolutely saving my knees. 10 out of 10. Salomon's for life. < 3

I find Salomon shoes can be narrow on my feet, but these Thundercross fit great. Took them out on a rainy trail and they performed well and my feet were dry.

Bagged myself a pair of these a couple of weeks ago now I think it is. Already clocked 140.83km on the trails with them and they are perfect

Comfortable right out of the box. Great cushion and arch support. I usually change the insole with an after market option, but no need with these. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with my Thundercross runner. I have owned many speedcross shoes but these fit my feet better. They are wider in the toe box so they work better for my wide feet.

I've had these trail runners for the past 6 weeks. It's been pretty reliable and consistently comfortable. The Gore-Tex works great in keeping the water out of the shoe, but it could be a little warm on hot days. The quick-lace system takes getting used to but I'm warming up to it. If you need a rugged but comfortable pair hikers, these may be the ones for you.

Definitely a new favorite. There is a lot of cushion, traction is great across multiple surfaces, fit is good. The tongue fits well but can be a little troublesome, also a heel loop/tab would be great to aid/save the heel structure when pulling the shoe on.

relly comfortable for walking on and off road - actually waterproof as well, unlike some other brands - have already recommended them to others

I've been wearing this for several weeks now, on and off road, and am happy with the support. I haven't tested the Gore-Tex...

I bought this a month ago and have worn it every day to walk in. It is very comfortable and more cushioning than most Salomon shoes. I will buy another pair. Wish there were more color options.

On my second pair of Goretex Thundercross shoes. Great stability and comfort that takes me from the trail to the outings with comfort and ease. Fit is spot on for my high arched feet.

The ThunderCross is my choice for conquering Central Texas trails. Second pair in three years. Consistently providing comfort, support, and durability across rocky and root saturated trail runs. Provides the perfect balance of all-day wearability and support.

I am a bigger fella so I have a hard time finding shoes that are stable, lightweight, and comfy when I am working out or hitting the trails and these shoes are perfect! I have had them for about a year and they are still running strong. I love Salomon and own six pairs of various models of their shoes and hiking boots.

Im on my second pair and love these shoes. I used to rock the old missions for daily kicks, till the changes the style. The toe box on these is WIDER than typical salmons which is great for my EE foot.

I bought these for a pretty thought 50K in October. These shoes delivered, no issues at all and they were a ton of fun to run with. They are true to size and very responsive.

True to size and just enough cushion under foot. I have tried all brands and most are too soft making you feel less surefooted. I will buy them again as soon as I wear them out!

This is my all-around favorite trail running shoe. I have completed the 100 mile TMB in this shoe as part of a guided tour as well as ran multiple, 50K and 100K equivalent races. This shoe has outperformed all my expectations. I love my HOKAs as well, but when it comes to technical climbing or downhill racing this shoe delivers the comfort and stability I need. My wife and I love it so much we have a combined 14 pairs of both Gortex and non-Gortex versions. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone.

I absolutely love these shoes! I normally rock speedcross for shorter rocky hikes on Oahu but I got these for extra support and theyre game changing. They have a wider toe box and the comfort is top notch. Super stable on rocky low altitude trails, good in mud and moisture. Feet stay dry but not hot. 10000/10 would buy over and over. The color way is perfect too, super easy to clean and the neon green stays poppin!

I've done a few short hikes and one backpacking trip in southern Ohio in these shoes. I continue to be impressed with the overall comfort and cushioning that these shoes provide. I am very sensitive to the traction of my hiking shoes, and the traction provided by the Thundercross is some of the best in all conditions. My only nitpick is the speedlace system. It does it's job, but does not allow for a heel lock, which I often find I need. My foot slides to the front of this shoe on steep descents.
