I wear an 8.5 in Speedcross, so I assumed the Thundercross would be the same. they are not. It appears they are perhaps an entire size or size and a half off. I am disappointed I have to send these back and wait for a new pair in my size.

I switched from the Speedcross (which is also a great shoe) over to the thundercross because I do more walking than running. This shoe feels more stable to walk in but still has the grip of a good trail running shoe. Highly recommended.

I bought this style as the usual pair I buy was discontinued. To my surprise, I love them better than the usual pair I buy!. I love the traction and support of this style.

I tried these shoes on once I had received them. I noticed that they run almost a size and a half too big for my feet. I did read the find my size page before purchasing and 7.5 is usually my size and should of been. Other than that, they are super comfy and cute!

I have high arches & insteps and most cushioned shoes these days seem to made for flat feet, with a big drop, high stack hieght and low instep, which dont work. These shoes fit the bill nicely for highly cushioned shoes for people with high arches and insteps. These shoes ar super comfy for long miles on good trails, but as expected due to the stack height and soft cushioning arent great on technical and super steep terrain. Also I had to size down 1/2 from my normal size in Salomon and other brands of running shoes Only real complaint is these arent summer shoes. They are noticeable hot when wearing when above 70* and I think sacrifice some needed breathaability for durability.

Love the cushion, the wider toe and the traction. I ran 5 miles the first time I put them on and like them better than my sense ride--more cushion. I normally would get a 7 but ordered 6.5 and that was perfect.

As always, no issue with Salomon shoes. Able to put miles on them straight out of the box. The toebox on the Thundercross very roomy.

I have had these shoes for about a year, I loved them so much I bought 2 more pairs to have once my current ones wear out! They have just the right amount of cushioning and grip on the sole. The toe box is nice and roomy while the midfoot and heel still feel snug and secure. I use them for mid distance trail running and hiking.

I originally bought this shoe in size 7.5, this is the size I wear in the SpeedCross and Genesis. The toe box was so wide that I got blisters and had to ditch them after 66 miles. I ordered a half size smaller, 7.0, and Im so much happier. I love the cushion these have for daily runs or long, slow runs. Not great on steep descents or techy terrain.

super versatile trail shoe. lots of cushion for distance training or just plodding along. toe box is similar to the genesis in that it is a little wider of a fit. great because it will still be comfortable if your feet swell after many miles.

Although they are comfortable I wouldn't consider them Ultra Plush! They are a bit on the firmer side. Solomans never disappoint tho! My feet love them

I just took my new Thundercrosses for a 13 mile trail run and I dont have a single blister. The ride is smooth and traction is amazing! I ran through mud, over rocks and roots, climbs, descents, single track and more and my feet flew. Without the worry of slipping or tripping, I reached a pace that normally I cant get on mountain trails! Highly recommend. If I could name one critique of this shoe, it would be that Id like a little more cushion in the heel cup, and a little higher drop. I may try out another Salomon for my next pair, but I will keep Thundercross in my collection for technical trail runs, especially in wet slippery conditions!

Ive had issues in the past with Salomon being too narroweven though my feet are super narrowand too rigid. The combination of those two caused hot spots and discomfort. Along comes Thundercross, and wow! So comfy! So capable! And my feet dont feel cramped. I am so, SO happy with these shoes! Salomon nailed it with these! I will be buying more. No question. :)

I though I read good reviews on the THUNDERCROSS. So I got these about 4 weeks ago! I originally got a 5.5 size but these were too big, so went for a 5 instead. When I put them on they felt comfy and I thought ok, but after a week or so of wearing the shoe now they expanded dramatically, and I mean these shoes are enormous now and the lace dose not tie tight enough. Hard to show a picture as the shoe is wide inside. Unfortunately I am unable to wear them as they stretched widely and too big.

The Thundercross is perfect for off trail running of hiking. Excellent for hard packed snow & muddy trail runs. Shoe offers a roomy toe box, good foot support & awesome traction.
