I love this weather hybrid slipper boot! It's cozy, comfy, warm, and waterproofed 2 inches up from the sole--just what I wanted to run errands in the winter and in the spring when melted snow pools into deep puddles on parts of the walkway surrounding the house. As a woman, I had to consider men's sizing when ordering, and that's why I've noted that the size felt a full size larger--in WOMEN'S sizing. Normally (and after doing some research), I've ordered men's shoes that are two sizes smaller than the size I want when ordering athletic shoes, and that has worked out perfectly for me, a person with moderate bunions who needs a slightly wider fit. This approach is especially helpful if the shoe I want in a woman's size isn't available in a wide width. For my MBT shoes, I order a men's size 7 to get a women's 8.5 or 9 size, and the fit is great. But when searching for this slipper-boot around the Internet, I noted that it often was advertised as "unisex" with a one size difference between men's and women's shoe sizes. So I took a chance and ordered the men's size 8 to get a women's size 9, and the fit is excellent. It appeared that the slipper-boot would be a bit too long at first, but when I adjusted the elasticized lace to tighten, the fit was great. A word about that elasticized lace. Out of the box, the lace is so tight against the toggle that I had to use a poultry lacer to get between the lace and toggle to pull the lace out sufficiently to get a grip on it to be able to adjust the tightness. (Photo shows the poultry lacer and the lace successfully pulled out through the toggle.). Also, these slipper-boots don't slip on like slippers or Sketchers. You slip your foot in and then hold on to the elasticized lace to pull the slipper-boot over your heel. I was glad to find that this doesn't change your elasticized-lace fit adjustment; it stays put, and you're good to go.
