Customer Reviews On Cloudswift 3 AD

I’m a woman and usually wear 8.5 in US women’s. I got these in men’s 7.5 and 8, which is equivalent to US women’s 9 and 9.5, respectively. I wound up keeping the 8 (US women’s 9.5), which is a full size larger. I’ve been wearing them every day for the last 2 weeks, and they have been oh so comfortable. There was no break in period at all. Also, I came from Cloud 5 Combo, which have the speed lacing system. I really wanted the speed lacing system, but I loved the look of the muted green color with the brown accent and laces. In these shoes I have them tied just enough so that I’m able to slide my feet in and out just like the Cloud 5 Combo, and they are not loose on my feet at all. The only downside, and I say this very lightly, is that they make my feet look much wider than they are. These shoes are a little more substantial than Cloud 5 Combo. I’m used to it now, but at first I was ready to return them because I didn’t like how they looked. My first photo shows the Combo 5 on my left foot compared to this one for reference.

Even if you go a half size up as most recommend, it's still a bit too snug, especially in the toe box. Otherwise, construction is sound, plenty of cushion, but these are built for a narrow fit.

Very well fitted shoe but go 1/2 size up. I also have the 3x and 5’s and these seem to be more of a cross country fit. The new support helps roll your foot a bit better as well. Just wish they had more color options.

Beware of "true to size" claims on this shoe. I am not sure whose feet these shoes are measured for, as the reviews claim they are "true to size, which is very incorrect. I normally wear a size 10, but I know from experience that I need to order these in size 11.5 (based on previous purchases of Cloudswift shoes). But I noted that people have stated either these are true to size or even slightly larger and were recommending same size, or at most, a half size larger. So, I took a chance and ordered a size 11. Well- they were too small. My toes hit the front of the shoe and they are more narow than my other cloudswifts. Anyway, returning these and orderering an 11.5 and hopefully, the shoes will fit.

I normally wear Nike running shoes in a size 8, but went up a half size since I wanted to wear them primarily loose for casual purposes only - it ended up being true to size for me with the right amount of width. You lose the speed laces, but can get around the lacing (or buy speed lace alternatives separately) compared to the Cloud 5. Thus I ended up getting something similar to but uniquely different than the Cloud 5, something similar to what Cloud 5 wearers already have, yet something all my own.

Shoe is very comfortable af first, then insole flattened out on the heel making my heels really hurt. I ended up putting my orthotics in them.

To me, these run a bit more snug than the regular Cloudswift shoes. I am a 9 in the regular Cloudswifts but felt more comfortable in a 9.5 in this 3 AD model. Consider going a half-size up as I see other's have mentioned as well. A very well cushioned shoe, particularly in the heal. Stylish, comfortable and good for a variety of activities. Great support. Only reason I gave them a 4/5 was for the sizing inconvenience.

Should have listened to other reviewers. Yes, this pair is definitely small or tight in the forefoot. You’d need to order at least half a size bigger than your normal size.

No longer a slip on shoe. Absolutely needs a shoehorn. Defeats the design premise and is a step down from prior models. Head to Sketchers for the real deal slip on everyday shoe

The shoes I received were dirty inside and out and had clearly been worn.

Zappos sent me a clearly used shoe. It didn't even have a box.

The size is way way smaller than what I have purchased from ON in the past I will not buy again

The entry point for the foot is half the size of similar On models.
