These are nice and lightweight but more breathable and less warm than expected. Definitely good for spring and fall but not recommended for Ottawa winter.

I wish I had listened to an earlier review which suggested going down a size. According to the size chart, I'm a small, but there's about a 0.5 cm gap at the finger tip of the index finger and thumb especially when I have my hands by my side. Having the index finger and thumb not fit defeats the purpose of using the glove for
the phone. Also the fit on the hand is loose. I would still recommend. They do keep hands warm and are soft. I'm hoping the xs size will be a better fit.

A little thin, but actually pretty good for an outdoor workout. I havent gotten too hot wearing them. Perfect to go under my hand warmers!

I really like these gloves! They are lightweight, but warm. The medium is a bit too big, so I wish I had gotten a small, but the sizing is still manageable.

These are the only warm gloves I have found that let you type on your phone. They are slim and comfortable.

I love these gloves as they protect my hands from the drying and cracking I experience in synthetic mitts and gloves. I wear them every time I'm outside in winter (ski touring, nordic skiing, teaching snow science), often under another outer mitt / glove. The main con of this product is that they wear out (tears and holes in high touch zones like finder pads and palms) within a single season of mild use.

good gloves but when Iooked for women's gloves, these came up but aren't marked as unisex. Too large and had to return

I love these gloves! They kept my hands warm underneath my ski gloves. They fit very well but started to slightly pill after 3 uses.

It is super hard to find brands that carry multiple sizes for gloves so was super excited to buy XS from SmartWool. The size is the best I've been able to find for small female hands although the touchscreen feature still requires effort (multiple screen taps or holding the glove taut while tapping). Based on other reviews about these being thin gloves I hesitated buying these but took a gamble. I concur with those reviewers; these are thin gloves, much thinner than I expected. I live in NY State and can feel the wind on my hands when wearing these gloves. These will be best worn as transitional/seasonal gloves in Fall and Spring, or warmer winter days. I wouldn't wear these outside for any length of time. I've had these a couple weeks and so far I've worn them to/from the car and while driving. I still give these 4 stars because of the fit and quality, even if they don't live up to my expectations for warmth.

These are thin but keep my hands fairly warm during dog walks. They are pilling after a few uses & the fingers are looong compared to the sizing of the glove (ordered small - way too long on my fingers).

Pretty versatile and warm. When the temperature is low I always use them. It also works with other layers. The reason why it's not a five star is that it worns out when you need to deal with small amount of rocks, and the touchscreen support doesn't always work.

Warm and lightweight. The touch screen thumb and finger pads work alright but not perfectly. They fit tightly which helps.

the gloves are lightweight but warm. They seem to run big and don't stay snug on my hands. also, the tough factor for navigating with my phone screen does not work very well.

I bought these to wear under my gloves while running outside in Ohio winters. Very disappointed. They are too large and I didn't find them to be warm at all. My hands aren't much warmer with them.

I bought these for my aunt for Christmas. The quality is great and they are very soft. Unfortunately, they aren't as warm as we thought they would be. Not for Alberta winters anyway, where she was visiting but will make good use of them in B.C.

I bought size XS because I wear a size 6. (Remember when glove sizes were numbers?) These are NOT very small. I would say they are at least a 6.5 possibly a 7. That said, you also need to remember that Smartwool is a very thin fabric. So these gloves are good for short periods of exposure to the cold or worn as an inner, liner glove.

The sizing runs larger than expected. I carefully measured with a tape measure and ordered a Medium according to the size chart, but it was too big. I had to exchange it for a Small. I recommend ordering one size smaller than the chart suggests.

These gloves are great but not very durable. We only wear them as liner gloves, but they still only seem to last one winter before the fingers get a hole in the or the seams split. We keep buying them anyway but try to get the on sale. I usually wear a women's glove and need XS in these to fit tight enough to work as a liner.

I measured my hand using the sizing guidelines. My had measured at approximately 7.75" from base to the top of my middle finger. This indicated I was between Small and medium. Most reviews noted that the gloves ran large and fingers were too large. This is not the case. The Medium is too small. The fingers are not long enough and the distance from the pointer finger to the thumb is long long enough creating a web between them. Where the material is comfortable and I have doubt these would make a great liner or walking glove the sizing is completely off. In addition the top of the finger has stitching which is an uncomfortable buildup of material. Poor shape and build quality. Very disappointing.
