This are my go to winter glove/mittens. They are versatile and comfortable.

Love these. I am an avid hiker and they keep my hands while not being to heavy. As I warm up, I can pull down the wind shield and not feel like I have to take my gloves off. They are also great with hiker poles! Easy to wash and dry.

These are perfect to keep my hands toasty at hockey games! The fleece is very thin so not ideal for sub-zero temps but otherwise use them every day!

This is a gift but it was well received and very appreciated.

I use these gloves for walking and running outside. I like the mitten layer that can tuck into the glove pocket easily if you need more dexterity while adjusting music/phone. I also chose these because of the grippies on the glove component.

These mittens have replaced my clunky winter mountain bike and winter road cycling gloves. They keep my hands / fingers feeling very comfortable, and I'm able to pull back the wind shield mitten when my hands start getting too warm in the midst of outdoor activity. I have two pairs with the wind shield mitten cover (for cycling) and two pairs with wind shield fingers (for running, hiking). Love them!

I thought these were mittens and although I'm not a glove person, I like them very much. I use them for cycling as they are much warmer than my cycle gloves.

Love, Love, Love the "wind-breaker material" pull-over! Turns gloves into easy-to-wear & comfortable mittens -- conceal pocket on top of hand -- so when using gloves, you do not have 1/2 mitten flopping around ( why hybird "Mitten/Gloves" always annoyed me in the past)

This is my second pair of mittens. I lost one of the original 3 yrs ago. This pair looks the same except for the logo change but I tried one old mitten and one new mitten to go outside in the snow. The new mitten is a bit thinner. Did not compare to the old mitten. My hands felt the difference. Too bad. I was hoping for the exact same result of my older mittens.

These run really small and I thought would be a bit warmer. They are very thin. However, they do block the wind, they are comfortable and I love the color.

Good in moderately cold weather (+2C down to -ve 10C) for active cardio, e.g. x-country ski.

I use these for winter fat biking. The new touchscreen fingertips work and are durable. The wrist hem is delicate and needs to be reinforced and repaired often (see photo). I'm on my fifth pair.

I use these for cold weather runs and those warmer xc ski days (15-35 degrees). Overall happy with the quality! I appreciate how Smartwool products actually work on touchscreens. Would use something warmer for activities in temps under 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

Great gloves. It would be nice to see a small clip added to keep them together when not in use.

I have worn these mostly while I'm driving but I have worn them completing fieldwork a couple of times. The temp was mid to upper 30s and my hands did get cold but west still functional. They have worked well as driving gloves with our dropping temps in northern Minnesota. #sweepstakes

Returned. The description states that these are wind mittens. They are actually gloves with a wind "mitten" cover over the fingers. I was looking for mittens.

I like these for the most part, but the fingers are way too long for my hands. The thumb fits perfectly, but the rest of my fingers are swimming in material and I can't grasp things properly. I wish they fit better

Perfect glove. Minus no softness on the thumb! A must for outdoor winter activities.

I had great hopes for these mitts! I like the features of a glove and extra comfort of a mitt. I like that the mitt pouch can be tucked away into a built-in pocket when not in use. I also like that they are red! Unfortunately, after one wear on a walk, the seams started to pull apart. This is not the quality I expect from a Smartwool product.

I wanted to love these gloves. However the first pair I bought wrapped between the wrist and palm. Thinking this was a fluke, I put a warranty claim through and good a new pair. This pair lasted all of one week longer than the previous pair before it started to rip along the same seam. I am not sure what kind of thread was being used on this glove, but it isn't strong enough for how tight they are around the wrist. I love the feel when they are on, but getting the on is to hard and obviously puts a strain on the stitching. Unfortunate but I will have to find another glove that does the same thing from a different brand.

This has been an absolute faff. I ordered these mittens plus the gloves (which were way too small despite using the smartwool sizing chart) almost two weeks ago. It took multiple tries to contact customer service and then were told we would need to ship back at our cost. Bottom line, smartwool products are typically high quality, but hope that you never need their customer service.

Bought these in a sports/outdoor store. These gloves have no reason to exist. They are not warm, not water resistant - what is the purpose of gloves that don't keep your hands warm if it's lower than 0 degrees C? Useless for living on the Westcoast of British Columbia.
